Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS Price, Overview and Key features Details Discussion
After its release, the Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS has made quite some popularity for itself. This is simply because the cruiser market is slowly getting more significant. Maybe a few years ago, people weren't as confident about traveling around the country as they are now. People are opting for cruisers because these bikes are comfortable and easy to ride on the highways. Among the cruisers, the Bajaj Avenger has always been one of the most popular cruisers, one of the contributing factors to the Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS's popularity. But the Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS in itself has a lot of properties that make it popular.
Bajaj is one of the biggest motorcycle manufacturers in the South Asian region. Bajaj has such influence that they have also joined hands with a few of the top motorcycle manufacturers. Some notable examples are Kawasaki and KTM. Bajaj has quite a lot of motorcycle series that have been deemed renowned by bikers. Some of these series are the Pulsar series, Avenger series, Dominar series, and many more. The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS came out in 2019 and instantly churned out curiosity.
Key Features:
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS is a cruiser by Bajaj. It has all the characteristics of a true cruiser. The bike has a stretched-out seat with pushed-forward footpegs. All of this is topped with raised handlebars and a long windshield. The overall motorcycle is perfect for comfortable touring. The rear of the Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS also has a massive grabrail for the pillion to hold.

The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS comes with the classic circular instrument cluster. However, they have not updated the instrument cluster in any way, shape, or form. The instrument cluster includes only the speedometer, odometer, and trip meter. The speedometer is analog, while the other features are digital. The fuel indicator and other necessary indicators are located on the top of the tank.
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS comes with single-channel ABS. The single-channel ABS is set up at the front only. The rear does have a speed counter, but it doesn't have any ABS. The ABS(Anti Lock Braking System) brings the braking system of the bike to a whole different level.
The bike comes with a mixture of halogen and LED lights. The headlight is a halogen bulb. It would have been better for touring if the front had an LED. The taillight is an LED unit. The indicators are bulb indicators. Then overall light setup may not be the best, but it is adequate. There are also LED DRLs
Physical Attributes:
As the Bajaj Avenger 160, ABS is a cruiser; it has a low saddle height of 737mm. Regardless of the low saddle, the ground clearance is 169mm, which is adequate. The bike may have difficulty passing some of the speed bumps at this ground clearance but can get through most. The bike also has a fuel tank of only 13liters. The fuel tank will make sure you don't have difficulty on long rides.

The length, width, height, and weight of the Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS are 2210mm, 806mm, 1070mm, and 156kg, respectively. The bike is naturally on the heavier side as this is a cruiser. They made the bike conquer the highways, not the city streets; hence the weight is good enough. The bike has an average wheelbase of 1490mm, ensuring that the bike is stable in the corners.
Engine and Transmission:
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS comes with a hybrid engine. The hybrid contains the DNA of the Bajaj Avenger 180 and Bajaj Pulsar NS160's engine. It has a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 2-valve, and 160.3cc engine. The machine is air-cooled and has DTS-i technology. The engine pumps out around 15PS of power at 8500rpm and 13.7Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The engine is relatively smooth, but at higher RPMs, there are chances of vibrations.

Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS has a disc-drum brake setup. The front brake is a disc brake with ABS, and the rear brake is a drum. The front brake is expected to perform exceptionally well, as the disc has a large radius of 280mm and because of the ABS. The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS front has telescopic forks as the suspension, and the rear has two 5-step adjustable shock-absorbing suspensions. The front suspension is expected to respond well as most telescopic suspensions do. The rear suspension will perform better due to the adjustability, which is a function more than often too rare. As this is a cruiser, the bike is also not made to lean too much during cornering, so the twin shocks are expected to perform well.

Target Audience:
The Bajaj Avenger 160 ABS is a bike for touring lovers. The cycle is for the tourers. This bike is for people who want to ride comfortably on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. These bikes are for people of all ages. Anyone can enjoy this bike, but people under 5'4" may find it difficult to control it as the footpegs are a tad further away.
