Yamaha XSR125 – Physical Attributes:
The new Yamaha XSR125 is an elegantly and exclusively designed motorcycle that belongs to the Yamaha XSR therefore, the “Sport Heritage” motorcycle series. The Yamaha XSR is the dedicated motorcycle series from Yamaha that describes the past-day design but as a high-performance modern motorcycle, it exclusively features modern technology as well as performance enhancements.
In the design the new Yamaha XSR125 shares almost the same design elements as the XSR155 model. Both models also extensively copy the iconic elements from bigger XSR900 or XSR700 models. Thereby, the legacy of XSR DNA is carried smartly and the motorcycle represents itself as a modern scrambler.
In the design, the Yamaha XSR125 represents an old-school appearance showcasing attractively crafted exterior design and an elegant graphic scheme. The motorcycle carries a very sleek & solid design as street scramblers do. The retro-neo styling carries old-school-inspired ergonomics with a modernized touch. Here the round-pit headlamp, tail lamp, and ODO, all are the modern gadgets. Those include integrated DRL, LED lights, & fully digital setups.
After the wider pipe handlebar, the teardrop fuel tank just has picked from the old-school scramblers and that holds the ignition key pit within a groove. The seat is a single-piece seat that is stitched and cushioned as to remind the old days. Along with the upright handlebar, comfy upright control levers, and wider cushioned seat, the XSR125 is nicely featured to enjoy the real feel of the gentle breeze on the roads.
In the rest, the new XSR155 is profiled on a sporty delta-box frame that is fully naked, and the unnecessary body panel is just ignored. Consequently, it smartly omits excessive side panels. The tail is fully naked but obviously includes a small but sharply visible tail lamp and a full-size registration plate hanger on the rear wheel mudguard. Matching the same the front wheel got a low-profile mudguard. So, on the engine, it got a bikini under-cowl and a fatter profiled exhaust just boldly boasts its beefy retro-neo scrambler attire.

But the sub-frame is different to showcase its retro-scrambler profile.
The wheel, brake, and suspension system both the XSR125 and XSR155 share the same components. Here the wheels are fitted with all-alloy rims and street-biased dual-terrain type wider tubeless tires in measure of 110/70-17 in the front and 140/70-17 at the rear. In the braking system, both wheels feature hydraulic disc brakes but unfortunately lack ABS enhancements.
In the suspension setup, the motorcycle comes with a 37mm USD Telescopic fork in the front, and at the rear, it features a linked mono suspension setup. The rear suspension is adjustable for a few steps. Thus, the Yamaha XSR155 is smartly packed with modern features in its wheel, brake, and suspension system.
