The Yamaha FZS-FI V3 is the third generation model in the 150cc FZS series. The journey of this 150cc range motorcycle began in 2008 with the FZ16 model, followed by the FZS and Fazer. Initially, it was primarily marketed in India, Indonesia, and a few South American countries. However, it later expanded its market to include numerous countries in Asia and South America.
The first-generation motorcycles were equipped with a carburetor fuel feeding system and featured a 153cc engine. In the second generation, the motorcycle underwent changes in engine size and fuel feeding system. It was upgraded to include an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system and a reduced engine size of 149cc. The headlamp assembly features all-LED lights with dedicated sections for high and low beams. Additionally, the fully digital ODO offers Bluetooth connectivity, allowing owners to sync their mobile phones. The negative ODO display incorporates various gauges, a digital clock, ABS indicator lamp, and Bluetooth indicator.
Moving beyond the wider pipe handlebar, the fuel tank takes on a puffed and muscular design, complete with a new skin. The single-piece curved seat is now adorned with a retro leather finish. The three-part dented and bloated tank muffler features a chrome-coated air duct, and the sticker liner receives the same chrome lining. The combination of the old-school textured seating and chrome-crafted fuel tank adds to the motorcycle's exposed and elegant appearance, embodying a decent and classic style.

As for the remaining elements, the side panel and rear remain unchanged from other editions of the FZS V3 model. The tail unit retains the one-piece grab rail, sharp tail lamp, and compact registration plate hanger. Additionally, Yamaha has equipped the FZS V3 edition with an extra tire hugger attached to the swingarm and an engine underbelly cowling.
