The Lifan K29 is a sports cruiser motorcycle debuted in Lifan's gorgeous cruiser motorcycle series, manufactured and marketed by the renowned Chinese motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, Lifan. It's an updated model of the cruiser that belongs to the quarter-liter motorcycle segment which stands after the smaller displacement model K19. However, both the motorcycles share almost the same ergonomics and exterior profile but besides a larger engine, the K29 surely has some distinctive corners in looks and design.

This new Lifan K29 is not only a larger capacity motorcycle than the K19 but also has some visual exceptionalities. It has a different headlamp setup, updated braking system, and comfortable handlebar position, and the skin tone also is different. Besides, the motorcycle is more powerful, performance-oriented, and efficient in terms of power delivery and fuel economy. Lifan K29 – Physical Attributes:

The Lifan K29 is an attractive entry-level sports cruiser from Lifan Motor Limited. This motorcycle is a recent addition to the Lifan’s cruiser motorcycle series that comes next to the smaller capacity cruiser K19 featuring almost the same attire and ergonomic profile. But along with a larger engine and other technical differences, the motorcycle features a different headlamp and handlebar setup. Meanwhile, with unique graphics and skin tone K29 creates its own identity.

In the look and design, K29 is an all-new breed that featured trendy to completely match with modern rider’s taste. At first look, it’s a fat boy with a muscled and bold body profile. It’s not puffed fake but truly carrying necessary muscles that are part of its design ergonomics. Here the most lucrative parts are the headlamp, fuel tank, exhaust, and the seat including the tail. But obviously, all the corners equally deserve attraction

However, the K29 and K19 look almost similar in their silhouette but the K29 comes with a round-shaped headlamp in the front. It's an all-LED unit that is integrated with a round bezel LED daytime running light (DRL) setup. Here, the head top is completely naked and there is no instrumentation occupying the head top. Rather the cluster is mounted on the fuel tank. So, the front view kept free and naked.

Next, on the top of the headlamp a large pipe handlebar is mounted that is wider and smartly curved to give the rider stylish and a comfortable riding experience. The one-piece pipe handlebar is one of the amazing parts of the bike. Literally, it’s wide, mounted sporty up-right, and featured with variable mount angle. It can give the rider the feeling of being free ensuring superb handling comfort.

Coming to the fuel tank, it’s massive in size with a water-drop design. Holding the ODO at its top it crafted the fuel cap aside. Under the tank, both sides are crafted with heavy panel ribs that cover the cooling radiator and finish at the side panels. Meanwhile, the side panels are equally puffed and heavily muscled that nicely matches with the chrome-capped matt-coated large and heavy exhaust muffler.

Here the seat is single-piece but nicely segmented. Both the rider and passenger seats are extensively cushioned and wider. It literally can ensure comfortable riding and cruising. Further, the tail end is open where the Matrix LED tail-lamp is positioned under the wider rear panel. Hence altogether the K29 is of course elegant & modern yet flexible to ride free. However, undoubtedly it is designed to stand alone and appear unique in the crowd.

Lifan K29 – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

The Lifan K29 is an all-new sports cruiser that is designed on a steel frame including all cast-aluminum wheels. The rims are all alloy rims featuring paired 10-spoke design. The front rim is 16” and the rear one is 15” in diameter. Further, 110-90/16 & 130-90/15 tires are featured respectively in the front and at the rear. However, here both the tires are tubeless type.

In the braking setup, both the front and rear wheels are featured with hydraulic disc brakes. The disk is highly ventilated and it is mounted in cross alignment. Meanwhile, both braking systems are enhanced with dual-channel ABS safety features.

Coming to the suspension system, it’s a hydraulic telescopic fork setup in the front. It is positioned quite with a relaxed caster angle. The angle is not that compact or extremely relaxed, hence it ensures better handling. Further, the suspension is well-calibrated to deal better with Asian region road conditions. Coming to the rear, those are spring-loaded double units and kind of adjustable that’s really positive.

Lifan K29 – Engine Performance & Features:

The new Lifan K29 is a modern sports cruiser that stands side-by-side with the smaller K19 model. The K29 comes with a new-generation 250cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, fuel-injected, water-cooled, engine. The newly designed cooling radiator is wider and placed in the middle alignment to ensure maximum cooling. This vertical-aligned engine features a SOHC 4-valve system and operates with a fully clutch and six-speed gear transmission system. However, here the final drive is carbon fiber belt driven and the starting system is electric start only.

In terms of power and performance, the K29 engine is tuned for efficient power and torque delivery, ensuring smoother power output and efficient fuel economy. The engine is rated to produce a maximum power of 20.5kW at 9,000 RPM and a torque of 23.5Nm at 7,000 RPM. With a higher compression ratio of 11.8:1, this engine allows the cruiser to comfortably reach a top speed of around 135km/h and it can ensure a decent fuel economy of approximately 27kmpl under standard riding and environmental conditions.
