Honda CB150R Streetfire is a powerful naked sports bike of Honda Motorcycle Company. It’s the naked version of Honda CBR 150R Indonesian version. To know about Honda CB150R Streetfire price in Bangladesh read the description below.
The sexiest racing machine, the CBR 150R (indo), has a naked or streetfighter version; the Honda CB150R Streetfire is also made by PT Astra Honda Motor, one of the subsidiaries of Honda Global. The design of this very Bike is inspired by the 2016 Honda CB 500F and CB 650F. The CBR is a super sport where it is a street naked made for doing more comfortable everyday city riding. So without ado, let's see what this Bike had got. Review of 2016 Honda CB50R Streetfire Indonesian Version:

Engine:
Like its cousin, the CB150R is the flagship in the 150 CC street naked bike category and the king of the performance in the street. The engine is the same unit as its cousin CBR 150R. So, that is 149.16 CC, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled with an auto fan, a single spark, PGM fuel-injected, DOHC super smooth and revving machine.
The engine has the same bore of 57.3 mm and stroke of 57.8 mm, resulting in that 149.16 ccs of cylinder displacement. The compression ratio is the same 11.3:1. Considering the fuel condition found in Bangladesh, anything but octane is BAD for the engine.
The engine is fed through a PGM-FI fuel injection system and controlled by the same ECU or Electric control unit or a computer that ensures that the machine is feeding correctly based on the riding conditions better than before.
Honda invents the fuel injection system of the Bike (PGM-FI) to give the maximum efficiency and not compromise the performance by analyzing different riding conditions, weather, altitude and inclination or disinclination, air temperature, engine temperature, humidity, etc.
Now it also measures the bank angle of the Bike while riding. Now the engine is equipped with NGK spark plugs. The machine is equipped with a Viscous type paper filter element as an air filter for healthy breathing.
The engine's lubrication system is also unknown. But Honda has slightly detuned the machine, which results in 16.9 PS of peak power at 9000 RPM and 13.8 Nm of maximum torque at 7000 RPM. The peak power has decreased, but the torque has increased and is accessible much faster in the lower rev-rang. So thumbs up there. The engine is fed from the same 12-liter fuel tank.
The Wet weight is 136 Kg which is 1 Kg heavier than the 2016 CBR 150R though the power to weight ratio became 5.64 HP per 100 KG. This might raise the question, "Is the bike is slower?" Yes. Slower than the CBR 150R, but that's super sport and a lot aerodynamic than this Bike. Luckily the CBR 150 has both Electric and kick starter.

Transmission:
The Honda CBR 150R is mated with the same 6-speed standard transmission, one down and five up configuration, so no surprise there. The transmission has a wet multi-plate clutch. The gear ratios are also unknown.
Design:
As said earlier, the Bike is a naked streetfighter, and the CB500F and CB650F inspire the design, so lots of engine parts and muscles will be visible. The front all-new LED headlamp and sharp LED taillight and turned signal lights design looks superior in its class like these are from the future. Also, going with the LED is a much more efficient choice as LEDs are very bright, long-lasting, energy-efficient, and less costly for vast production.
The Bike has an aggressive and aerodynamic visor design. The fuel tank looks muscular, and those tank shrouds give more aerodynamic. The keyhole is placed on the tank, which looks futuristic. The Bike uses a unibody seat but looks much sportier than any unibody seat in the market.
New sporty two-piece grab rails have been used. The rear end of the Bike looks very sporty. Unlike any bike in the market, the rear fender is plug n play which means the fender is detachable any time one wants.
The engine is gold finished and combined with a very sporty under cowl that strengthens the character of the Bike suddenly Bike looks more relaxed. The vast and sporty 5-spoke 2016 CBR 150R wheels look very stylish. The Bike is available in two editions, standard and special. The standard edition is in three colors Macho Red Black, Rapid Red White, and Wild Neon Green Black. The special edition comes with Raptor Black and Honda Racing Red colors.

Instrument console:
The 2016 Honda CB150R Indonesian version uses the same all-digital unit with a blue backlit Black & White LCD like its cousin. It has a tachometer, speedometer, trip meter, odometer, gear counter, clock, fuel gauge, and average fuel consumption meter. There are some indicators to assist the rider.
Switch gears:
The switch gears are the same as the CBR 150R and typical Honda type. No engine kill switch and Headlight switch as the Bike comes with AHO(Automatic Headlight On System). The horn and turn signal switches have an exchange place as the bigger Honda bike. That means the Horn switch is in the turn signal switched position and the turn signal switch is in the Horn switch's place. The Bike has a pass light switch.
Electricals:
Electricals are identical as the 2016 Honda CBR 150R uses a 12 V, 5Ah maintenance-free battery and an AC generator. The Bike uses a Digital Transistorized Spark Ignition System. The Bike has the brightest Low /High beam clear lens DC LED headlamp, LED tail /Brake light, and each LED clear lens to turn signal light. The Bike has a bank angle sensor that automatically shuts off the engine if it falls.
Chassis & Dimensions:
Honda used a Diamond Truss frame for the foundation of the 2016 CB150R, just like the CBR 150R, which should give this Bike more stiffness and stability on the highway, city roads, and corners too.
The dimensions of Honda CB150R have been changed, and the overall length of 2019 mm, a width of 719 mm, the height of 1039 mm, higher ground clearance of 169 mm, and shorter wheelbase of 1293 mm. The wet weight (with tool kit & 90% of fuel) of the Bike is 136 Kg.
That means the Bike is bigger and lengthier than the 2016 CBR 150R, which does not make much difference, still easily controllable and manageable on the road. The wheelbase is shorter and increased the height of the Bike for more stability in the city and added more skill and agility to the Bike.
Suspension:
The 2016 Honda CB150R has the same suspension setup as its cousin. So, there are Telescopic forks at the front and five steps adjustable Spring Loaded Hydraulic Type Pro-Link Monoshock at the rear, attached with a rectangular swing arm. The reason behind that would be the suspension was great on the older one, so why change it? This setup serves the purpose well for which it was made, giving stability.
Wheels, Brakes & Tires:
The same 2016 Honda CBR 150R wheels, breaks, and tires have been used in the 2016 Streetfire. The same 17 inch 5-spoke split alloy wheels and the brakes and tires are the same as before, 276 mm Disc with Nissin dual caliper at the front, which is the best in this segment and fitted with 220 mm rear disk with Nissin single caliper. The tire sizes are 100 /80-17" at the front and 130 /70-17" at the rear. Both of these are tubeless tires and offer an incredible amount of grip in the competition.

Performance:
Surprisingly, the 2016 CB150R performs just like its cousin, 0-100 within just less than 9 seconds, thanks to its aerodynamic design, but one will feel the difference in the higher speed as the Streetfire is a naked bike. And also gives an average mileage of 45-50 Km/L, which is expected considering the CBR 150R.
The liquid-cooled engine with an auto fan the Bike should perform cooler and better than any air-cooled engine. The Bike should handle well in the corners and high speed because of its Diamond Truss frame, wide tires, and suspension setup. But this Bike suffers measurably in the off-road. This is an Asphalt king, not for off-road as before.
Comfort and Handling:
As no structural changes have not been made, the Bike should handle the same as the 2016 CBR 150R. The integration of the vast, spacious, and well-cushioned unibody seats should offer more comfort than its CBR cousin. The Bike has a bank angle sensor, so if the Bike fell or banks more than 75 degrees, the engine will be shut off immediately.
Conclusion:
The 2016 Honda CB150R Indonesian version is another proof that does not matter where ever it was made "Honda is Honda" just like other Honda bikes.
