The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition, a recent addition to the Hero Xtreme 160R motorcycle lineup. Hero MotoCorp has recently unveiled this version as a part of their 2025 Hero Xtreme 160R lineup. The Hero Xtreme motorcycle is dedicatedly designed as a streetfighter, aimed to enhancing the street racing experience delivering smoother engine performance and excellent fuel efficiency. 

In confidence in the success of the existing model, Hero has released this updated version to cater to young riders. The Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition especially comes with a very attractive graphic scheme based on an all-matt black color profile. It also features a decently powerful engine and an advanced electronic fuel injection system, replacing the older carburetor system. However, the new Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition recently added in the series features an all-new color and graphical scheme beholding all-black theme maintaining the iconic design elements of the series.

The design of the new Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition is remained completely unchanged except the graphics scheme and color profile. The motorcycle configured based on the existing Xtreme 160R model where the engine is swapped from the 4V version. As a result, the motorcycle has some exterior changes compared to its base model. But it shares many components such as the headlamp assembly, fuel tank, side panel, rear panel, and exhaust setup. 

At first glance, the new Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition catches attention with its multi-pit LED headlamp assembly featuring integrated LED DRLs. Above the headlamp, a digital ODO cluster is mounted naked without a fairing, which is a new unit with an attractive negative display and Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones. The pipe handlebar has been designed with all the necessary control switch arrangements, enhancing the motorcycle's overall control and functionality.

The fuel tank retains its iconic shape but has received a facelift and is now adorned with an attractive skin tone. The seat comes with a curvy design that is sporty in appearance, with the rider and pillion seats positioned at different heights. Integrated grab rails have been added beside the rear seat, while the tail section remains similar to the older Xtreme 160R. However, throughout compact sporty exhaust barrel it appears to be sportier from rear.

Additionally, the motorcycle features a sporty engine underbelly pan and a matt-black colored fork setup. Overall, the design of the motorcycle exudes compactness and muscularity, reflecting its aggressive nature, further accentuated by the new color and graphics scheme. Thus entirely, the Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition stands out with a distinct and aggressive identity, that is undoubtedly appealing and eye-catcher on the roads.

Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

The new Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition is designed with a Tubular Underbone Diamond frame, which is consistent across the entire current Hero Xtreme motorcycle lineup. As a result, the XTREME 160R Stealth Edition features the same wheel, brake, and suspension system configured in other models in the series. 

The Stealth Edition is fitted with a 100/80-17 tire at the front and a 130/70-17 tire at the rear. Both the tires are tubeless type. In the braking system, the new Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition features hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Furthermore, the braking system is enhanced with a dual-channel ABS feature to enhance braking safety. 

The suspension system of the motorcycle now features a 37mm standard telescopic fork suspension in the front. At the rear, it incorporates a 7-step adjustable mono shock absorber connected to the swingarm hinge. These competent featured to ensure a reliable performance in varied riding and road conditions.

Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition – Engine Performance & Features:

The Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition is a modern, feature-packed street-naked motorcycle. It is equipped with an updated 163.2cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine. This engine features an OHC 2-valve system and is upgraded with an electronic fuel injection system. Additionally, the engine is fitted with a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 5-speed gear transmission with the pattern 1-N-2-3-4-5. The motorcycle starts using both the kick and electric start systems.

Coming to the power and performance of the motorcycle, the new Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition engine has been optimized to deliver enhanced power, torque, and improved fuel efficiency. The engine is now capable of generating a maximum power of 15BHP at 8,000RPM and a torque of 14Nm at 6,500RPM. With these enhancements, the motorcycle can accelerate faster and reach a top speed more quickly while providing a decent range of fuel economy for both city and highway rides.
