With a bundle of advanced technical features, powerful motor, and lithium-ion battery setup, the scooter is purposefully profiled as a highly competent urban commuter that smartly matches with modern lifestyle.

Zeeho AE8 SE Test Ride Review – Look & Design
Zeeho AE8 SE is an absolute modern electric scooter that features a striking design and exterior profile figured on an on-bone structure. Therefore, it comes with a regular scooter-like configuration featuring a wider floorboard in the rider's footrest position and compatible wheel, brake, and suspension setup. Though it copies conventional scooter-like structure, it represents a futuristic exterior design that not only looks gorgeous but also gives a premium impression as well.

However, the core attraction of the scooter starts from its futuristically designed front assembly. The sharp-toothed and curvy multi-layered aerodynamic front panel holds a uniquely designed headlamp assembly. It features all LED lights, LED DRL, and LED turn indicators in a unique configuration that altogether gives the scooter a futuristic look. Also, the same design theme is applied at the tail featuring a slashed tail panel, brightly visible strip LED tail lamp, and LED turn indicators.
Entering the cockpit of the scooter, it features a fully digital ODO positioned in the middle of the handlebars inside a bikini cowling. The 8” TFT ODO displays a comprehensive range of parameters, and the handlebar holds a range of control switches. Then, featuring dashboard pockets, the inner matte panel nicely covers the on-bone footrest position of the scooter and extends up to the seat.
Here, the seat is a very spacious single-piece seat that is wider and comfortably cushioned both for rider and passenger, and the tail is complemented by a heavy grabrail. Meanwhile, the scooter has under-seat compartment that is spacious enough to keep necessary belongings. In other body elements, the scooter features fatter profile alloy wheel setup, where the front wheel has an extended mudguard and the rear wheel features a single-arm hugger system. Thus, Zeeho AE8 SE features a very premium design that clearly catches attention in the crowd.

Zeeho AE8 SE Test Ride Review – Team BikeBD Findings
Zeeho AE8 SE is a very recent addition to the e-bike market in Bangladesh showcased by CFMoto. The e-scooter features a very cozy street riding profile; therefore, the riding, controlling, and handling characteristics of the scooter are very agile and full of fun. As well, the design and styling of the scooter is also damn aggressive, which clearly grabs attention on the roads. The scooter also comes with a very powerful motor and a compatible battery setup as we mentioned above.
Therefore, we the Team BikeBD, were eager to experience the real capability of the scooter through our thorough test rides. However, Zeeho AE8 SE caught our attention at first sight with its unique design. The build quality shows it’s a premium machine crafted with care and precision. It features a razor-sharp and edgy exterior that translates to quality and craftsmanship. Literally, we found very minimal corners to criticize, considering our visual inspection, where most of the external parts we found well finished.
However, we have noticed some features added to this scooter that should be appreciated. Those are:
>> The scooter features an on-bone design that has a spacious floorboard at the rider’s footrest.
>> t comes with a unique and sporty exterior profile that is absolutely eye-catching and features a convenient wheel, brake, and suspension setup along with ABS and TCS safety features.
>> The seat is wider and much comfortable, has under-seat storage and cockpit attached gadget compartment along with type-C USB charging facility.
>> It has key-free ignition and power cut facility. Therefore, it doesn’t require a physical key in the pit, but mechanical lock unlocking requires a conventional key operation.
>> Full LED headlight and tail light setup along with uniquely designed highly visible turn indicators.
>> Nicely designed fully digital ODO console shows an extensive range of parameters, and the display is very clearly visible even in broad daylight and also eye-friendly in the dark of night.
>> Powerful motor and detachable battery setup. The batteries can be charged while fixed in the scooter or separately at home outlets.
>> The scooter has three different riding modes that are convenient to balance between battery saving economical riding and speedy power ride.
>> Nimble handling, easy to ride and control, and has side stand engine cutoff feature that allows a hassle-free safer ride.
So, these are modern features added to the scooter to make it a practical commuting machine. Besides, we have a few corners to criticize. The LED headlight setup here looks very gorgeous and eye-catching, and the tail lamp as well. But, the headlamp is good enough for city rides; on the dark highway, a rider may struggle a bit, especially riding in higher speed.
Secondly, the scooter tail is slashed in design, and the rear wheel is quite open that has a tiny hugger at its back. It provides very minimal dirt and mud protection in rainy or dirty surface conditions. And then, the addition of a backrest at the passenger seat would have been more supportive in case of comfortable passenger carrying, especially infants or lady passengers.
Seating, Riding, Controlling, & Handling Behavior
As per our test rides of Zeeho AE8 SE, our first assessment comes on the riding behavior of the scooter, therefore, controlling and handling characteristics. The scooter features an upright riding posture and a very comfortable seating position, along with lowered upright handlebars and almost flat seating position. Also, the passenger seating is very comfortable that is complemented by a supportive grabrail setup.
Meanwhile, in some moments we missed for a back support for the passenger, especially in critical high-speed riding, though it has a grabrail at its back. Then, the rider seat is also much wider which helps for fatigue-free long rides. But on city roads, some lower height riders may feel a bit uneven while continuously trying for flat-footing in slow-moving tight traffic.
Zeeho AE8 SE is quite a lightweight scooter even with a powerful motor and multiple battery setups. It is nimble and agile in controlling and handling, which is great for commuting. It has enough ground clearance to tackle city bumps, and we also found it equally capable on highway rides. Moreover, we rode it on our highly elevated twisted Chittagong hill tracks. The scooter stays planted on any type of paved surface.
The suspensions are typically tweaked for smooth paved roads, but the braking system we found much supportive in commuting on city roads also on highways. Here we should mention that the ABS feedback also was impressive in varied riding and surface conditions. On the counter, it lacks conventional engine braking as it is an EV; that’s why we rode it quite carefully on extreme downhills. Lastly, it has no idle wheel locking system; for this reason, we struggled a bit to park the scooter on steep downhills.
Motor Performance and Cruising Experience
In consideration of motor performance, riding and cruising with Zeeho AE8 SE, it feels like flying a bird. The motor controlling mechanism is super précised. It’s a damn powerful motor that has super thrust. Thanks to the integrated TCS system that controls the initial thrust up to 10-15km speed to avoid sudden or accidental acceleration, but after the initial speed, it accelerates so quickly like an arrow shot.
However, Zeeho AE8 SE initiates its torque delivery even from its idle position. Therefore, you will not feel a lack of torque even at the initial lower speed. That’s why we very easily climbed the highly elevated and steep hill tracks and successfully passed the road over Boga Lake, Keokradong, and Dim Pahar in the Bandarban hill district.
Meanwhile, the scooter features three different riding modes: Eco, Street, and Sport to tackle different riding situations. The most impressive feature of the riding modes is that they are instantly switchable in time of riding. Therefore, a rider easily can switch to Sport mode while overtaking or at high elevation and return to economy mode to save battery power. Meanwhile, we missed a feature that is a reverse charging facility that might increase the battery backup a bit more.
Coming to the road-tested performance figures, Zeeho declares the maximum top speed of the scooter is around 105kmph. But in our test rides, we could clock 95kmph of maximum speed riding in Sport mode, where the rider's weight was 117kg and had around 12kg of luggage mounted on the tail. So, we were very close to the officially declared maximum speed.
Meanwhile, we could clock the maximum speed on the scooter 50kmph in Eco mode and 75kmph in Street mode with that 117kg rider and the same luggage setup. Also, the maximum riding range was around 120km with the standard battery setup in Eco mode. However, Zeeho AE8 SE features an easy charging feature for the batteries using regular power outlets anywhere. The batteries can be charged separately or just while fixed with the scooter. Here, the standard charging time is around 5-6 hours, but as a premium EV, we missed the fast-charging facility in Zeeho AE8 SE.

Verdict – BikeBD Valuation
So, after doing a thorough test ride review of the Zeeho AE8 SE here we come to a verdict and our valuation. Based on our test ride and observations, we found the scooter packed with features very competitively. Though it has a few rooms for further improvement, it’s a great commuter that holds absolutely unique styling and comfortable commuting features. Therefore, anyone can undoubtedly rely on that machine as a daily life commuter.
On the other hand, we can’t call it a true highway machine, but it has a decent capability to ride it on highways for a while. It’s true, it’s powerful enough to deal with our highway situations, but it has a lower riding range while riding at maximum speed in Sport mode. Meanwhile, the scooter has a very easy battery swap feature; for that reason, anyone may try long rides by swapping batteries, as we did on our highway rides.
Lastly, the most impressive part is that the scooter has a tremendous climbing capability, which makes it capable of riding on any paved hill track in Bangladesh. We effortlessly climbed the elevated and steeply inclined roads of Bogalake, Keokradong, and Dim Pahar of the Bandarban hill district. So, you can assume its capability. Therefore, if anyone desires for a highly capable and uniquely designed electric scooter as their commuting companion can try this awesome machine anywhere in Bangladesh in plain land or on the hills.
