Introduction

The Yamaha FZ is an exclusively featured street commuting motorcycle series from the Japanese motorcycle brand, Yamaha. The series of motorcycles features a decent range of engine power, a sporty appearance, and very comfortable riding ergonomics. The motorcycles in the series are meticulously designed to provide superior control on two wheels. The FZ motorcycles are designed to ignite the rider's passion for open roads.

However, the Yamaha FZ-25 is a quarter-liter street-naked model showcased in the series. It’s a dynamically designed machine that truly redefines the meaning of exhilaration in riding, even in day-to-day casual commuting. The Yamaha FZ-25 is an elegantly designed and exclusively featured motorcycle in the Yamaha FZ streetfighter series. The motorcycle comes with a decently powerful and efficient engine and comprehensively features a competent setup of wheel, brake, and suspension system. Moreover, it represents a refreshed appearance in the series, showcasing an attractively crafted exterior profile and an attractive graphic scheme on its exterior.

 In the exterior design, the new Yamaha FZ-25 comes with a bulky and muscled design and a fatter body profile that is iconic to the series. In the front, the motorcycle comes with an all-new headlamp assembly that features a bi-functional LED projection headlamp along with an integrated LED DRL setup. The headlamp features a compact bikini shield and the ODO console mounted inside. The ODO is a fully digital negative display console that displays necessary parameters.

Next, after a wider pipe handlebar, the motorcycle features a bulky, muscled, and nicely dented fuel tank that is identical to the entire series. It holds beefy air ducts on both sides. The side panels also come with an edgy and muscular design, and the tail features a very compact design. Here, the seat is a sporty split seat that comes with double horn grabrails, and at the tai,l it features a sharp tail lamp along with a compact registration plate hanger setup.

In the other body elements, the Yamaha FZ-25 comes with an individual tire hugger over the fatter rear wheel. Matching the same the motorcycle features a fatter barrel exhaust and a sporty underbelly cowling. Therefore, along with an all-alloy wheel setup and beefy exterior, the motorcycle nicely boasts a beast-like appearance that nicely amplifies its overall attire and attitude and is an absolute eye-catcher on the roads.


Yamaha FZ-25 – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

The Yamaha FZ-25 is a gorgeous addition to the Yamaha FZ motorcycle series. The motorcycle is designed on a high-tensile steel tube diamond frame along with a rectangular steel-tube swingarm following Yamaha’s naked sport specifications.

In the wheels, the Yamaha FZ-25 exclusively boasts fatter-profile wheels fitted with sporty alloy rims. Those are equipped with tubeless type street tires measuring 100/80-17 in the front and 140/70-17 at the rear. In the braking system, the motorcycle features hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, and the braking system is enhanced with a dual-channel ABS feature.

In the suspension system, the Yamaha FZ-25 comes with a 41mm hydraulic telescopic fork suspension at the front. At the rear, it features a 7-step preload adjustable type monocross suspension that is center-aligned with the aluminum swingarm.


Yamaha FZ-25 – Engine Performance & Features:

The new Yamaha FZ-25 is a modern commuter motorcycle that comes with a muscular and sporty design. The motorcycle comes with a decently powerful quarter-liter capacity engine. The engine is a 249cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, Oil-cooled, SOHC 2-valve, and fuel-injected engine. 

The engine features a bore and stroke of 74.0 mm x 58.0mm and a compression ratio of 9.8:1. It comes with a wet multi-plate clutch system and is paired with a 5-speed gear transmission in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5. The engine is featured with an electric start only.

In the performance figures, the engine can deliver a maximum power of 20.52 BHP at 8,000RPM and a maximum torque of 20.1NM at 6,000RPM. According to Yamaha, the FZ-25 engine has been optimized for smoother power delivery, better fuel efficiency, and improved on-road performance ensuring better emission compliance. As a result, along with the Yamaha Blue Core refinement, the motorcycle can provide a more enjoyable riding experience.
