It’s an affordable release in the entry-level ADV motorcycle segment in this market by TVS Motor Company. TVS has officially entered the adventure motorcycle segment with this Apache RTX 300 model. Belonging to the ADV, therefore, adventure sports category, this model holds true street-adventure DNA. Meanwhile, the newly developed machine comes with a decently powerful 300cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that is dedicatedly tweaked to be efficient both in power delivery and ensuring fuel economy. Therefore, along with a bunch of advanced technical advancements, the motorcycle is extensively featured to be a competent street adventure machine.

TVS Apache RTX 300 – Physical Attributes

TVS Apache RTX 300 is a newly launched beginner-class street-ADV motorcycle in the TVS motorcycle and scooter lineup. This is the first-ever adventure motorcycle by TVS Motor Company. The brand TVS formally entered into the ADV motorcycle segment introducing this all-new ADV model that comes with dedicated street adventure ergonomics. At first look, the motorcycle looks quite like an extended version of the BMW G310GS model, where both the motorcycles are produced in the TVS India manufacturing plant.

However, at first, the dual pit headlamp, large windshield, muscular fuel tank, step-up split seat, exposed trellis frame, and upraised exhaust muffler grab attention. Besides, the larger wheel setup, long-travel suspension, and taller body profile, along with higher ground clearance, altogether gave the motorcycle a true street-ADV identity. In addition, upright seating and handling ergonomics ensure confidence on the motorcycle.

In the design, the motorcycle features twin Class-D symmetric LED headlights with a signature twin-DRL setup in the double-pit headlamp setup. The LED turn indicators are mounted separately on both sides and the assembly is complemented by a large windshield over the headlamp. Consequently, along with the golden barrel front USD forks and sporty front wheel mudguard, the entire front part of the motorcycle showcases a true ADV profile.

Next, the cockpit of the motorcycle features a fully digital 5-inch TFT ODO and a solid one-piece pipe handlebar. The TFT ODO features smartphone connectivity via TVS SmartXonnect technology, and the handlebar has an extensive range of control switches where dedicated switches can navigate various features displayed on the ODO. However, the motorcycle comes packed with tight muscles on its entire exterior as well as on the fuel tank.

The fuel tank extension cowl is attached to the headlamp assembly and features very minimal side panels at the back. The trellis frame remains exposed, and the split step-up seat features a heavy grabrail at its tail that also works as luggage carrier. The tail features a compact setup along with LED tail lamp, turn indicators, and number plate hanger. Therefore, along with upraised exhaust and sporty wheel setup, the motorcycle solely represents a true ADV attitude that literally looks cool.
