Taro GP 1 V3 has garnered significant attention since its release, piquing the interest of the sportbike community, all while generating considerable buzz. Its exhaust sound has been a primary factor behind the praise it has received, contributing to the growing popularity of Taro due to its exceptional quality and reliability in the realm of all bike price.
Taro is a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, and its motorcycles are widely available in Bangladesh through Taro Bangla, a subsidiary of Sikder Group of Industries. Taro Bangla has successfully marketed several Taro motorcycles in Bangladesh, with the Taro GP 1 V3 being the top-selling model, generating significant interest upon its release due to its appealing Taro bike price in Bangladesh.
Key Features:
The Taro GP 1 V3 ranks among the best 150cc bikes in Bangladesh due to its striking resemblance to a MotoGP motorcycle. This design directive called for a sizeable and aerodynamic build, resulting in a notably large head section and a robust overall appearance. Distinguishing itself from traditional MotoGP bikes, the Taro GP 1 V3 boasts a comprehensive LED lighting system. This includes a full LED headlight, accompanied by LED taillights and sleek, minimalistic indicators.
The Taro GP 1 V3 comes in only one color, which is black. The V3 has been designed quite uniquely and completely different from the first one. The bike has a completely new color scheme, with a new variation in the decals. The newer bike has a more minimalistic look to it due to the decals.
The bike has a completely new TFT display as the instrument cluster. The display has a whole deal of information. The instrument cluster has a speedometer, odometer, RPM counter, fuel gauge, trip meter, gear position indicator, and other necessary indicators. The instrument cluster has also been designed to look similar to MotoGP bikes.
The light setup of the bike is quite similar to the previous version. The headlight is a full LED light with LRD DRLs. The headlight design of the bike has also been kept quite similar to the previous version. The bike has a full LED taillight and LED indicators which look very aesthetic and attractive.
Physical Attributes:
The Taro GP 1 V3 also comes with a very big physical appearance, just like its predecessor. The bike has a split seat and a slightly raised clip-on similar to its predecessor. The bike has a saddle height of 800mm, which will be comfortable for most riders above the height of 5’4”. The ground clearance of the bike is around 180mm, which will allow it to glide through most of the speedbumps of Bangladesh. The bike also has a fuel capacity of 13.5 liters, which is great for going on long tours.
The length, width, height, and weight of the Taro GP 1 V3 are 2050mm, 720mm, 1155mm, and 150kg respectively. The weight of the bike is on the heavier side. This weight of the bike will keep the bike stable at high speeds. The bike has a wheelbase of around 1422mm, which is quite long. This long wheelbase takes away the nimbleness of the bike but keeps the bike stable while leaning.
Engine and Transmission:
The Taro GP 1 V3 comes with a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, and 155.2cc engine. The engine is liquid-cooled and is also fitted with a carburetor. The engine pumps out a staggering 19BHP of power at 9500rpm and 16.5Nm torque at 9000rpm. The power and torque figure of this bike is through the roof. The bike is expected to have a mileage of around 38kmpl on average.
The Taro GP 1 V3 has a basic wet multi-plate clutch system. However, a slipper clutch would have done wonders for the bike. The Taro GP 1 V3 has a 6-speed gearbox, and the bike is expected to have an approximate top speed of about 130kmph.
Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
Taro GP 1 V3 has an improved braking system. The bike has a dual disc at the front, which is 300mm. The front brake is also fitted with ABS, which is an improvement from the front. The rear of the bike has a 240mm disc which also has an ABS. Overall the braking of the bike is an interesting factor, as it is a big improvement from the previous version.
The Taro GP 1 V3 comes with telescopic forks at the front and a gas-charged mono-shock at the rear. The front telescopic forks do not come with adjustability settings, which is okay, but having that would have given the bike a whole different personality. The rear gas-charged mono-shock can be quite good for the riders at the corners, however, it won’t be very comfortable for a pillion.
The Taro GP 1 V3 has alloy wheels. The front and the rear have a combination of 110/80 and 150/70 tires respectively. This is the thickest tire combination in Bangladesh, which makes it quite impressive. The tires let the bike lean quite well at the corners and also let the rider have confidence while cornering.
Target Audience:
Just like the Taro GP1, the Taro GP 1 V3 is not for beginner riders. The bike is quite powerful and quite heavy, which is supposed to overwhelm any kind of beginner rider. This bike is for veterans who wish to shift to a stronger, heavier, and more powerful bike. This bike is also not suggested for commuters, as this bike is quite big and not nimble, which will make it difficult for riders to squeeze through traffic.
The Taro GP 1 V3 boasts a commendable bike price in BD. This sportbike has consistently garnered a polarizing response within the Bangladeshi riding community. Nonetheless, the Taro GP 1 V3 stands as an impressive and commendable option.
