VERDICT
Taro GP is a fairly common name in the Bangladeshi sportbike community. People in Bangladesh consider loud “dug dug” from motorcycles as desirable. This desire has brought the motorcycle Taro GP 1 to the limelight.
The Taro GP motorcycles are considerably large and noticeable from a distance, which makes the bike quite noticeable from a distance. The Taro GP 1 (Valerio) is just another name for a different design of Taro GP 1.
Taro is a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, which is popular for sportbikes of capacity 400cc and above. However, due to the cubic capacity limit, Taro is forced to bring bikes under 165cc to Bangladesh.
Taro Bangladesh is a daughter company of Sikder Group of Industries. Since the inception of Taro Bangla in 2018, people have been going crazy on the bikes of the Taro GP series.
Key Features:
As previously mentioned, the Taro GP 1 (Valerio) gets a huge noisy exhaust system. The exhaust has a strong sound, which many Bangladeshis desire in their bikes. Due to the modification laws of Bangladesh, people cannot modify their motorcycles to their desires, which also include the exhaust systems. However, the sound of the Taro GP 1 matches the taste of most riders, which is why the Taro GP 1 received such popularity.
Taro GP 1 comes with a fully faired body. The body looks very similar to MotoGP motorcycles. The fully-faired body comes with clip-ons, a wide tank, and a good windshield. The bike comes in multiple colors. The number of colors that are available of the Taro GP 1 is beyond anyone can expect. We are still trying to list the colors of the bikes below:

The Taro GP 1 comes with a very informative instrument cluster. The instrument cluster has a speedometer, an odometer, a trip meter, an RPM counter (analog), and other necessary information. The instrument cluster also has a digital gear position indicator, which is quite important for any kind of rider.
Physical Attributes:
The Taro GP 1 comes with a very big physical appearance. The bike has a split seat setup with a set of clip-ons. Although the clip-ons are slightly raised, which allows the rider to comfortably ride the bike for long periods without getting tired.
The bike has a saddle height of 800mm, which will suitable for riders above the height of 5’4”. The ground clearance of the bike is around 180mm, which allows the rider to conquer most of the speedbumps of Bangladesh. The bike also has a fuel capacity of 13.5liters, which is great for going on long tours.
The length, width, height, and weight of the Taro GP 1 are 2050mm, 720mm, 1155mm, and 150kg respectively. The power to weight ratio of the bike is a bit strange, as the bike is a bit on the heavier side.
Although, the bike will remain quite stable at high speeds due to its power. The bike also has a very long wheelbase of 1422mm, which will be good for the riders, as it keeps the bike stable at corners.
Engine and Transmission:
The Taro GP 1 comes with a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, and 155.2cc engine. The engine is liquid-cooled and is also fitted with a carburetor. The engine pumps out a staggering 16BHP of power at 8500rpm and 14.5Nm torque at 8000rpm.
While the power is extremely high, the torque figure is quite average and also kicks in quite late. The bike is expected to have a mileage of around 40kmpl on average.
The Taro GP 1 has a basic wet multi-plate clutch system. However, a slipper clutch would have done wonders for the bike. The Taro GP 1 has a 6-speed gearbox, and the bike has an approximate top speed of about 130kmph.
Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
Taro GP 1 has a very average braking system, considering the price. The front brake of the bike is quite interesting though. The front brake is a dual-disc setup, of which both the discs are 300mm.
The rear brake is also above most brake plates, as it is a 240mm disc. Now, the question is why the brakes are average for its price because at this price an ABS or CBS would have done wonders to the bike.
The Taro GP 1 comes with telescopic forks at the front and a gas-charged mono-shock at the rear. The front has telescopic forks that are not upside-down forks and does not come with adjustability settings either. The rear gas-charged mono-shock can be quite good for the riders at the corners, however, for a pillion, it won’t be the best.
The Taro GP 1 has alloy wheels. The front and the rear have a combination of 110/80 and 150/70 tires respectively. Both the tires are thicker than most bikes of Bangladesh, which makes this bike all the more interesting. The wheels allow the bike to lean over quite comfortably and quite easily.
Target Audience:
The Taro GP 1 is not for beginner riders. The size, weight, and power of the bike are not suited for a rider who is just starting to learn the ropes of motorcycling.
The bike is targeted towards the veteran riders who wish to move to a bigger bike with a little more power. The bike is for the ones who want to use the bike to ride out of town and on the highway, as this bike will struggle in heavy traffic.

Taro GP 1 is a unique motorcycle with unique characteristics, which is something every rider wants. The bike is also going to be making quite some sound, quite literally. The Taro GP 1 is for the riders who want to make some noise and a quality motorcycle.
