Suzuki V-Strom SX is a small-capacity street adventure motorcycle in the Suzuki motorcycle lineup produced and marketed by Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited. Suzuki V-Strom is a very popular ADV motorcycle series and the V-Strom SX is entry-level adventure machine that also has a parallel-twin cylinder version rolling in many other countries in the world. 

Suzuki V-Strom SX is a single-cylinder version and it features all the street riding characteristics and elements, along with comprehensive road-legal components. Consequently, the motorcycle also has a few off-road riding capabilities, besides road adventure characteristics. This version of the motorcycle comes with a decently powerful, performance-oriented, and fuel-efficient engine. 

This 250cc, oil-cooled, and single cylinder engine can produce enough power and torque to tackle varied road conditions within its riding range and provide a notable fuel economy. Therefore, along with decent adventure riding features, this motorcycle is also characterized for comfortable commuting both in the city and highways. The motorcycle is designed very attractively, featuring a road adventure-biased features and characteristics. The motorcycle has a blend of adventure riding ergonomics, advanced technical features, and comfortable commuting characteristics. Besides, the motorcycle grabs the people’s attention with its bigger ADV bike-like styling.

Suzuki V-Strom SX showcases an edgy and sharp profile and that is inherited from the bigger capacity V-Strom models. It is muscled, dented, and sharply edged all over on its exterior. The headlamp assembly of the motorcycle catches the attention at first sight. It features a multi-pit LED headlamp setup along with LED DRL setups inside a single housing. The design is identical, which is complemented by a large windshield and a compact front fender over the front wheel mudguard.

The cockpit inside the large windshield, features a fully digital ODO console that is a refreshed unit. The upright mounted handlebar is wider and features integrated knuckle guards and the solid pipe handlebar holds control switches on both sides. Then the fuel tank of the motorcycle is a large unit that comes with an edgy design. It is integrated with the front assembly, with its side fenders making it a covering around the fork and Yoke assembly.

Next, the seat is a step-up and split seat that is complemented by a head grabrail at the tail. It can also serve as a luggage carrier that is cool. However, the motorcycle features nice looking and muscular side and rear panels that look great. At the tail, it features a sharply visible LED tail light setup under the metal grabrail, and the tail fender integrates turn indicators and a registration plate hanger.

In the other design features, the motorcycle continues with an identical double-vent exhaust system that is quite similar to the Suzuki Gixxer series. Meanwhile, the ODO, headlamp, and tail lamp designs are also similar to the series. The Suzuki V-Strom SX is an entry-level street adventure machine that is designed on a steel-tube diamond frame. On the wheels, the motorcycle holds sporty alloy rims and tubeless type street tires in a measure of 100/90-19’ in the front and 140/70-17” at the rear. This configuration of wheels helps for a better street adventure performance.

In the braking system, the motorcycle comes with hydraulic disc braking setups on both wheels and the braking system is improved with a dual-channel ABS feature. The engine is paired with a wet-type multi-plate clutch system and features a 6-speed gear transmission system in a pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. The engine starting is equipped with an electric start system.

In power and performance figures, the Suzuki V-Strom SX engine is tweaked for increased power and torque figures, and that ensures smoother power delivery and efficient fuel economy. As a result, this engine can deliver a maximum power output of 26.1BHP at 9,300RPM and torque of 22.2NM at 7,300RPM. Moreover, this 250cc engine also uplifted by Suzuki's SEP technology and compliance with the latest standard emission requirements that improves its efficiency and also the fuel economy.
