Suzuki V-Strom 250 is a quarter-liter, single-cylinder street adventure motorcycle in the Suzuki V-Strom ADV motorcycle lineup produced and marketed by Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited. It’s a popular entry-level adventure motorcycle that also has a parallel-twin cylinder version rolling in other global markets.

This single-cylinder version features all the street riding characteristics and elements, along with comprehensive road-legal components. Consequently, the motorcycle also has moderate off-road riding capabilities, besides road adventure capabilities. This version of the Suzuki V-Strom 250 comes with a decently powerful, performance-oriented, and fuel-efficient 250cc oil-cooled engine. 

This motorcycle engine can produce enough power and torque to tackle varied road conditions within its riding range and provide a notable fuel economy. Therefore, along with decent adventure riding features, the motorcycle is also characterized for comfortable commuting both in the city and the countryside. Hence, showcasing an attractive exterior design, V-Storm 250 is nicely profiled for entry-level road adventure riders.


Physical Attributes

Suzuki V-Strom 250 is a featured entry-level adventure motorcycle from Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited. The motorcycle is designed very attractively, featuring a road adventure-oriented profile and ergonomics. It especially blends adventure riding ergonomics, advanced technical features, and comfortable commuting characteristics. Moreover, the motorcycle grabs the enthusiast’s attention with its bigger ADV bike-like exterior profile.

In the look & design, the Suzuki V-Strom 250 continues an edgy and sharp profile that is inherited from the bigger capacity V-Strom models. It is muscled, dented, and sharply edged all over on its exterior. The headlamp assembly of the motorcycle catches the attention at first sight. It features a multi-pit LED headlamp setup along with LED DRL setups inside a single housing. The design is identical, which is complemented by a large windshield and a compact front fender over the front wheel mudguard.

Inside the large windshield, the cockpit features a fully digital ODO console that is a refreshed unit. The handlebar is a solid pipe handlebar that holds control switches on both sides. The upright mounted handlebar is wider and features integrated knuckle guards, which also look cool. The fuel tank of the motorcycle is large enough that comes with an edgy design. It is integrated with the front assembly, with its side fenders making it a covering around the fork and Yoke assembly.

Here, the seat is a step-up and split seat that is complemented by a head grabrail at the tail. It can also serve as a luggage carrier that is cool. However, the motorcycle features nice looking and muscular side and rear panels that look great. At the tail, it features a sharply visible LED tail light setup under the metal grabrail, and the tail fender integrates turn indicators and a registration plate hanger.

In the other design features, the motorcycle comes identical double-vent exhaust system that is quite similar to the Suzuki Gixxer series. Meanwhile, the ODO, headlamp, and tail lamp designs are also similar to the series. However, along with street riding biased sporty alloy wheel setups, the motorcycle is dedicatedly designed for street adventure that, even at first sight, looks gorgeous and cool.

The Suzuki V-Strom 250 is a capable entry-level adventure motorcycle that is designed on a steel-tube diamond frame. On the wheels, the motorcycle holds sporty alloy rims and tubeless type street tires in a measure of 110/80-17’ in the front and 140 / 70-17” at the rear. This configuration helps for a better on-road adventure riding performance.

In the braking system, the motorcycle comes with hydraulic disc braking setups on both wheels. The braking system is enhanced with a dual-channel ABS feature. Coming to the suspension system, the Suzuki V-Strom 250 comes with coil spring and oil-damped upright telescopic fork suspension in the front. This motorcycle comes with a 249cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, oil-cooled, SOHC 4-valve engine, featuring a bore & stroke of 55.3 mm x 55.2 mm and a compression ratio of 11.5 : 1. The engine is paired with a wet-type multi-plate clutch system and features a 6-speed gear transmission system in a pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. The engine starting is equipped with an electric start system.

In power and performance figures, the Suzuki V-Strom 250 engine has undergone a few refinements and tuning to enhance its throttle response, efficiency, and overall performance. Additionally, the updated engine incorporates modern features like an electronic fuel injection system and ECU-controlled ignition to ensure efficiency in operation.
