This model is introduced by Suzuki Motorcycle India and is positioned alongside their Gixxer 155cc models featuring almost the same exterior and design profile. However, this new machine features a bigger engine along with the fully faired Gixxer SF 250 model.

The new Suzuki Gixxer 250 comes with an aggressive sporty design and a cutting-edge exterior profile from its head to tail. However, this bike comes with a bigger engine and boasts a fresh look, exclusive graphics, and an iconic appearance in the series. In the looks and design, this new machine maintains its iconic appearance as featured in the 155cc models. Therefore, most body parts of the motorcycle like the fuel tank, seat, body panels, headlamp, tail, ODO, etc. copy the same design. Thus, the Gixxer 250 carries the same silhouette as the Gixxer 155 but truly it’s a bigger and more powerful machine.

However, in the design the Suzuki Gixxer 250 holds a muscular, sharp, and fully aerodynamic profile from front to rear. The sleek and edgy design of the motorcycle starts from its front assembly. Here the headlamp and ODO display come with an attractive shape and design. The headlamp features a multi-pit LED setup and the fully digital ODO unit housed on the top of the headlamp.

Being a street-naked model, the motorcycle features a single-piece pipe handlebar that holds all the necessary switch and control levers. The fuel tank is an identical unit that has been designed with bold contours and curvy, sharp shrouds on both sides. Here the side panels are designed compact and harmonize with the sleek tail panels. And most attractively the engine also features a bikini underbelly cowling.

The motorcycle also features a sporty split seating arrangement and is equipped with double grab rails beside the passenger seat. The new Suzuki Gixxer 250 is constructed on a steel-tube diamond frame which is almost similar to the SF 250 model. Both the model come with the same core frame, wheel, brake, and suspension setup. But belonging in different categories both the machines aligned differently. Consequently, they offer distinct riding and handling characteristics.

In the wheels, the new Suzuki Gixxer 250 features sporty alloy rims and tubeless type street tires on its both wheels. The tires are measuring 110/70R17M/C 54S in the front and 150/60R17M/C 66S at the rear wheel. Both wheels are equipped with hydraulic disc brakes and include a dual-channel ABS in its braking system.

In the suspension system, the new Suzuki Gixxer 250 comes with an upright hydraulic telescopic fork suspension in the front and a mono-suspension at the rear fitted with the rectangular swingarm. The new Suzuki Gixxer 250 is a quarter-liter street naked machine that comes with a powerful 249cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, oil-cooled, SOHC 4-valve engine. This fuel-efficient engine features a longer stroke design featuring a bore & stroke of 76.0mm x 54.9mm. The engine is fitted with a wet-type multi-plate clutch system and features a 6-speed gear transmission system in a pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. The engine starting is equipped with an electric start system.

The new 250cc engine has been developed with some refinements and tweaks to enhance its throttle response, fuel efficiency, and overall road performance. This updated engine also comes with some modern features like the electronic fuel injection system and ECU-controlled ignition to ensure efficiency in operation in any weather condition. Consequently, the engine is tuned to be efficient that ensures precise performance in terms of power delivery, acceleration, and fuel economy.

Furthermore, the new Suzuki Gixxer 250 engine is better tweaked with Suzuki's SEP technology and complies with the latest standard emission requirements. After the tuning and tweaking, the engine now can deliver a maximum power output of 26.14 Bhp at 9300RPM and torque of 22.2NM at 7,300RPM. With these tweaks and updates, the new Gixxer 250 is more efficient in terms of emission control, engine response, fuel economy, and overall riding performance.
