The “Refresh” version now comes with a 90/90-17 size tire in the front and a 120/70-17 tire at the rear.

Regarding the braking system, the RTR 160 2V Refresh model comes with a hydraulic disc braking system on the front wheel. At the rear, it features both hydraulic disc and conventional drum brake setup as an option. However, the new version of the motorcycle is now added with a single-channel Super-Moto ABS feature in the braking system.

In the suspension system, the new TVS Apache RTR 160 2V Refresh model comes with a regular upright telescopic fork suspension in the front. The rear suspension is double unit that is a monotube inverted gas-charged shox (MIG) supported with spring aid on both units. The rear suspensions are also adjustable in 5-steps. TVS Apache RTR 160 2V Refresh – Engine Performance & Features:

The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V Refresh is now a tweaked and more refined machine. The motorcycle is equipped with a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine. This engine features a SOHC 2-valve system and now has been upgraded with an electronic fuel injection system, replacing the older carburetor fuel feeding system. The engine is equipped with a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 5-speed gear transmission figured in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5. However, the motorcycle can be started using both a Kickstarter and an electric start system.

In terms of power and performance, the new TVS Apache RTR 160 2V Refresh engine now has been optimized for smoother power and torque delivery that also ensures improved fuel efficiency backed by the newly installed EFI system. The engine is now capable of producing a maximum power of 11.8 kW (16.04 PS) at 8,750RPM in Sport mode and 9.8kW (13.32 PS) at 8,000RPM in Urban/Rain mode. In terms of torque, it figured 13.85Nm at 6,500RPM in Sport mode and 12.7Nm at 7000RPM in Urban/Rain mode. Therefore, the motorcycle now comes with enhanced engine performance.
