It incorporates an electronic fuel injection system and is paired with a 5-speed gear transmission in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5. The engine starting is facilitated by an electric start system only.
In terms of power and performance, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 410's engine has been tuned for smoother power delivery, sharp acceleration, and efficient fuel economy. However, this engine is tuned to produce a maximum power output of 24.3BHP at 6,500RPM and a torque of 32.0Nm at 4,500RPM. This tuning allows the motorcycle to deliver higher torque at low RPMs and cruise comfortably at a top speed of around 110kmph, characterized by the signature Himalayan exhaust note.
