The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is an old-school style-inspired modern adventure touring motorcycle produced by Royal Enfield India. The motorcycle is constructed with a highly stable twin-spar steel frame that can ensure greater confidence and a more stable riding experience on varied terrain conditions.

On the wheels, the motorcycle features old-school-styled steel spoke rims and tube-type dual-sport tires. Here, the front tire is sized at 90/90-21, while the rear tires measure 140/80-17. The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is a retro-neo-styled heavy-duty adventure touring motorcycle. It comes equipped with a robust 452cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC 4-valve engine. The engine features a bore & stroke of 84mmX81.5mm and a compression ratio of 11.5:1. It incorporates an electronic fuel injection system and is paired with a 6-speed gear transmission in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. The engine starting is facilitated by an electric start system only.

In terms of power and performance, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450's low-emission engine has been tuned for smoother power delivery, sharp acceleration, and efficient fuel economy. However, this engine is tuned to produce a maximum power output of 40.02PS at 8,000RPM and a torque of 40.0Nm at 5,500RPM. This tuning allows the motorcycle to deliver high torque at low RPMs and cruise comfortably at a top speed of around 140kmph, characterized by the signature Himalayan exhaust note.
