The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Single-Channel ABS) is a model variant in the Apache RTR 160 motorcycle series. The Apache RTR is a dedicated motorcycle series in the TVS street-sport motorcycle lineup that is designed to enhance the sporty street riding experience while ensuring higher engine performance and excellent fuel efficiency. However, in order to meet the diverse needs and requirements of the fun-loving riders, TVS has released this new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Single-Channel ABS) variant that is now enhanced with a single-channel ABS feature in its braking system. The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is a dedicated street-naked motorcycle series from TVS, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Single-Channel ABS) is a newly featured variant in the lineup. Beholding the identical exterior profile, this variant now comes with a braking enhancement featuring a single-channel ABS feature. Meanwhile, in the design and exterior, this model also remains the same motorcycle as the does the base model.

Describing the design elements, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Single-Channel ABS) is a true copy of the Apache RTR 160 4V. Here, the headlamp assembly features a multi-pit LED light setup and integrated DRLs on both sides. The digital ODO cluster is mounted above the headlamp, and the handlebar is a solid pipe handlebar. Next, the fuel tank of the motorcycle features an edgy and curvy shape that is consistent throughout the series. 

The fuel tank comes with sharp and extended bulky fenders on both sides. The tank is larger in size, muscular, and has the fuel cap positioned on the side. Then, the seat in this variant of RTR 160 4V is a solid single piece that features ample space, providing a comfortable seating position for both the rider and pillion. 

Meanwhile, the tail of the motorcycle also features a sporty design that is complemented by a closed-loop grabrail and an identical LED tail lamp. As another identical feature, this version of RTR 160 4V also comes with the same twin-barrel exhaust muffler, which is large, segmented, and visually much appealing. It really adds a sporty and cool touch to the motorcycle. Thus, along with muscular and curvy design, this variant of the motorcycle also showcases an aggressive and head-turning appearance.


TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Single-Channel ABS) – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

The new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Single-Channel ABS) also comes with a Double Cradle SynchroSTIFF chassis, as do the other variants in the series. The motorcycle also comes with an identical configuration of wheels, brakes, and suspension system. The motorcycle comes with alloy wheels featuring a 90/90-17 size tire in the front and a 130/70-17 tire at the rear.

Regarding the braking system, the motorcycle comes with hydraulic disc braking systems it’s both wheels, and the braking system is updated with a single-channel ABS safety feature. In the suspension system, this variant of the Apache RTR 160 4V also comes with a regular upright telescopic fork suspension in the front. The rear suspension is mono and is attached to the front end of the swing arm.


TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Single-Channel ABS) – Engine Performance & Features:

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Single-Channel ABS) comes with a new generation 159.7cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, oil-cooled engine. This engine features a 4-valve design and has a carburetor fuel feeding system. The engine is equipped with a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 5-speed gear transmission system, and the motorcycle can be started using both kick and electric start systems.

In terms of power and performance, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V (Single-Channel ABS) engine has been optimized for smoother power and torque delivery, as well as improved fuel efficiency. The engine is now capable of producing a maximum power of 16.6BHP at 8,000RPM and a torque of 14.8Nm at 6,500RPM. With these enhancements, the motorcycle is capable of reaching the top speed faster and can ensure a decent range of fuel economy both in city and highway rides.
