The Honda XBlade 160 is a modern commuter motorcycle in the series that comes with a fuel economic 160cc engine and features exclusive commuting features. The motorcycle comes with a very stylish and sporty exterior profile and comfortable riding ergonomics.

Honda XBlade 160 – Physical Attributes:

The Honda XBlade 160 is one of the highly discussed motorcycle models currently in the commuter motorcycle market in this region. The motorcycle features a sharp and edgy design and styling in its overall exterior profile. However, all the available versions of the Honda XBlade 160 till now share the same naked-sport profile. Therefore, the bike also retains the same design featured in other versions of the motorcycle in the series.

In the design and styling, the Honda XBlade 160 comes with street commuter attire featuring an aggressive streetfighter look and appearance. It includes a new LED headlamp design, a sporty digital instrument cluster, a sharp-edged fuel tank, a larger exhaust muffler, and macho styling all over the body profile. These features contribute to its sharp-edged blade-like identity. Therefore, it stands out as an edgy and uniquely sporty motorcycle in its segment.

The uniqueness of the design elements of the motorcycle starts from its headlamp assembly, which features a ROBO-FACE sharp-headed multi-pit LED setup integrated with chin-mounted DRLs underneath. The fully digital instrument cluster is positioned above the headlamp, inside a sharp and extended windshield. The instrument cluster is shared from Honda's sport breed CBR150R model. After the one-piece pipe handlebar, the fuel tank also has an exclusively sharp and edgy design with eyetooth-like shrouds on both sides.

Next, the seat of the motorcycle is a solid single-piece seat that features ample space and a curved design, providing a comfortable seating position for both the rider and the pillion. This seating arrangement remains consistent throughout the XBlade 160 series. The side and rear panels feature a muscular and curvy design, while the tail boasts a razor-sharp LED tail lamp and closed-loop grab rails on both sides. 

In the rest, the front and rear mudguards of the motorcycle got a sporty design, along with a synchronized rear tire hugger and a compact underbelly pan. Meanwhile, one of the striking additions to the XBlade 160 series of motorcycles is the fatter barrel exhaust, which is large, double-vented, and visually appealing. It adds a sporty and cool touch to the motorcycle. Overall, the design of the motorcycle remains consistent throughout the series which is damn eye-catchy and its appearance is really cool.


Honda XBlade 160 – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

The Honda XBlade 160 is a solid commuter motorcycle that comes with a diamond frame and features commuting-friendly wheel, brake, and suspension setups. In the wheels, the motorcycle features alloy rims and tubeless type tires in measure of 80/100-17 size tire in the front and 130/70-17 tire at the rear.

As for the braking system, the motorcycle is equipped with a hydraulic disc braking system in the front wheel and the rear wheel comes with drum type brake. In the suspension system, the XBlade 160 comes with a regular upright telescopic fork suspension in the front. Here, the rear suspension is mono and is attached to the front end of the swingarm. The rear suspension is 5-way adjustable.


Honda XBlade 160 – Engine Performance & Features:

The Honda XBlade 160 is a modern, feature-packed street-naked commuter motorcycle. It is equipped with a 162.71cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine. This engine features a 2-valve configuration and the fuel feeding system is carburetor type. The engine is fitted with a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 5-speed gearbox with the pattern 1-N-2-3-4-5. The motorcycle can be started using both the Kickstarter and electric start system.

In terms of power and performance, the bike engine has been optimized for smoother power and torque delivery, as well as improved fuel efficiency. The engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 13.90BHP at 8,500RPM and a torque of 13.90Nm at 6,000RPM. With these enhancements, the motorcycle is capable of reaching a top speed of around 110kmph and can provide a decent range of fuel economy in both city and highway rides.
