The new KTM Duke 200 is a premium naked-sport motorcycle from KTM. The motorcycle is equipped with a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that features BOSCH EFI fuel injection and a DOHC 4-valve system. The engine features a bore and stroke of 72.0mm X 49.0mm and a compression ratio of 11.3:1. Here, the clutch system is a wet multi-plate clutch system and the transmission comprises six-speed gears arranged in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. Meanwhile, the motorcycle features an electric start system only.
In terms of power and performance, the KTM 200 Duke’s updated engine has been optimized for smooth power delivery, excellent performance, and efficiency in both power output and fuel economy. However, along with the latest emission compliance the engine is rated to produce a maximum power of 24.67 Bhp at 10,000RPM and a torque of 19.3Nm at 8,000RPM. As a result, the motorcycle is capable of achieving a top speed exceeding 130kmph while delivering decent fuel economy.
