Introduction

The Hundai Deluxe 100 is a standard commuter bike. And we already know how valuable standard commuters are in Bangladesh. Mostly because of their fuel efficiency and affordability. Most people don’t want to spend as much time or money on their bikes, which is why standard small capacity bikes are more reasonable to them. These bikes are not necessarily highly efficient, they just consume less fuel compared to higher capacity bikes.

Hundai is a Chinese motorcycle brand. Hundai bikes are imported by Rupsha Trading Corporation. Rupsha Trading is also responsible for Zongshen motorcycles in Bangladesh. They import most of these bikes in CKD conditions and then assemble them here in Bangladesh. Rupsha is one of the oldest motorcycle manufacturers of the country. They have made a serious name for themselves in the motorcycle industry of Bangladesh.

Key Features:
The Hundai Deluxe 100 comes with a fairly regular design. The design somewhat reminds you of the TVS Metro. The bike comes with a long single seat, with the rear part of the seat slightly elevated, which gives the pillion the much-needed privacy. The bike also has a tail rack, which allows for the rider to strap in any extra baggage to the rear. The bike also had a crash guard.

The Hundai Deluxe 100 comes with a full analog instrument cluster. The instrument cluster pretty much includes everything that is required for the daily commuter. The instrument cluster contains a speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer, tripmeter, and other necessary indicators.

The design of the Hundai Deluxe 100 is quite sporty. The tank section gets quite a few edges, which make it look slightly sporty. The exhaust design is also quite good, as it comes with chrome plating. The headlight makes the bike look like a beast.

The Hundai Deluxe 100 comes with a 100cc engine, which makes the engine consume less compared to larger capacity engines. The bike is expected to consume about 60kmpl. The fuel consumption should allow the bike to ride without any worries for days under heavy use. However, for the bike to continue with the low fuel consumption, it should be well maintained and properly checked out.

Physical Attributes:
The Hundai Deluxe 100 is a short bike with short saddle height. The bike may seem tall, at 1400mm of height, due to the upright handlebars. The bike also has a large fuel tank of 13liters. The large fuel tank ensures that you don’t have to think of filling the bike up now and then.

The length, width, and weight of the Hundai Deluxe 100 are 2000mm, 780mm, and 104kg respectively. The bike is fairly light compared to higher capacity ones, which is a plus point for such bikes. The bike also has a very short wheelbase of 1260mm, which does bring the question of balance, but considering the power, the wheelbase will hold up well.

Engine and Transmission:
The Hundai Deluxe 100 comes with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, and 102cc air-cooled engine. The engine pumps out 5.0kW of power at 7500rpm. The bike is expected to be quite fuel-efficient and is expected to have a mileage of around 60kmpl, which is quite a lot for the city commutes. However, the power and torque are quite low.

The Hundai Deluxe 100 has a basic wet multi-plate clutch system. The bike comes with a 4-speed gearbox. Which means the gearing is quite tall, which does take away some top speed and some fuel efficiency as well.

Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
The Hundai Deluxe 100 has a single-disc brake setup. The front wheel has a disc, which is unexpected for a bike of this Power figure. The rear brake is a basic drum system, which is expected from a bike of this range. The front brake puts the bike ahead of its circle and also makes the braking performance quite good.

The Hundai Deluxe 100 comes with telescopic forks at the front and spring-loaded twin suspensions at the back. The front suspension being telescopic is expected to be average and similar to other bikes of this range. The rear suspension will be quite comfortable for the pillion, but won’t be the best for cornering.

The Hundai Deluxe 100 comes with alloy wheels. The front and the rear wheels have a 2.75-18 and 3.00-17 tire setup respectively. The tire setup of the bike is quite good, as it makes the bike’s tires better than most of its competitors.

Target Audience:
The Hundai Deluxe 100 was made for the people who are concerned about the fuel efficiency of their bikes. This bike was made for the regular commuter who uses their bikes more than they use anything else. This is bike was also designed by keeping the middle-aged person, looking for a budget friendly bike, in mind.

Competitors:
The Hundai Deluxe 100 has a few competitors.
Dayun Sprout 100.
Runner Bullet 100 V2.
Zongshen ZS-100-4.
Roadmaster Delight.

The Hundai Deluxe 100 is overall a satisfactory commuter, which can meet the expectations and desires of a regular commuter. It is a bang for the buck. Even though it does have some drawbacks, but they can be ignored considering the price and purpose of the bike. Whether the Hundai Deluxe 100 is the bike you want is to be decided by you.
