Honda Shine SP is one of the successful commuter motorcycles in the Honda CB Shine motorcycle series marketed by Bangladesh Honda Pvt. Limited (BHL) in the Bangladesh market. The motorcycle is available in a few other versions and model names in other Asian countries including Bangladesh. The series of motorcycles features solid commuting-friendly ergonomics and has been designed with mind-blowing design elements. Hence, it’s a lucrative as well as a very practical motorcycle that can meet daily life commuting requirements.
Honda Shine SP belongs in Honda’s 125cc commuter motorcycle category which is very positively leading the market for many years and has earned its reputation for being a reliable machine. Honda Shine SP is a very decently featured motorcycle in the Honda CB Shine motorcycle series that comes with a diamond-type steel frame. In the wheels, it has all-new sporty split-spoke alloy rims and tubeless type street tires. In the braking system, the motorcycle comes with a hydraulic disc brake on the front wheel whereas the rear setup is drum type. Here the CBS enhancement is standard with the brakes.

The new Honda Shine SP is a 125cc street-naked commuter motorcycle. The engine is a 124.73cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled, SOHC 2-valve engine that features a carburetor fuel feeding system. Here the bore & stroke are 52.3mm X 57.8mm and the compression is 9.2:1. The clutch multi-plate wet clutch system and the transmission featured a 5-speed gear with the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5. The engine can be ignited with both the manual kick starter and electric start system.
This fuel-efficient engine is refined with Honda’s Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology that maximizes engine performance as well as ensure the maximum possible fuel economy. Accordingly, the engine can deliver a maximum power of 10.16BHP@7,500RPM and a maximum torque of 10.30Nm@5,500RPM. Therefore, the Honda CB125 Shine SP engine is better refined and tweaked for better power delivery and maximum fuel economy.
