The Honda CB125 Hornet is a recent addition to the Honda Hornet motorcycle lineup. Honda Two-Wheelers India released the all-new Honda CB125 Hornet as a part of their 2025 product line. It's a premium commuter that is specially designed with eye-catching streetfighter ergonomics. The motorcycle features sporty upright riding ergonomics and showcases a premium exterior profile, making it an adorable machine, especially to young riders.
However, the Honda CB125 Hornet is a brand-new naked-sport machine in the Honda Hornet series, which is an absolute upgrade from the conventional 125cc commuter motorcycles. The motorcycle features a decently powerful fuel-injected engine and comes with a competent wheel, brake, and suspension setup that altogether offers superior performance, balance, and control. Therefore, the new motorcycle is designed not only to be an eye-catcher on the roads but also to boast a superior riding and commuting experience.

The Honda CB125 Hornet is a newly introduced street-naked motorcycle in the Honda CB Hornet motorcycle series. The Honda CB Hornet series of motorcycles is known for its aggressive urban styling and sporty riding ergonomics. Consequently, this new machine is not out of that trend. Maintaining the sporty streetfighter design language of the series, the Honda CB125 Hornet also came with an aggressive design and an extensive range of technical advancements.
However, the motorcycle comes with a unique design and exterior profile that is visually appealing and damn sporty in appearance. At first glance, the CB125 Hornet catches attention with its multi-pit LED headlamp assembly over the golden barrel USD forks. It also features an integrated LED DRL setup. Above the headlamp, a digital ODO is mounted naked without any fairing. It's an all-new 4.2” TFT unit that displays an extensive range of parameters and has Bluetooth connectivity with mobile phones.
The handlebar is a single-piece pipe handlebar that holds necessary control switches, which enhance the overall control and functionality of the motorcycle. Meanwhile, the fuel tank holds the ignition key pit aligned before the fuel tank cap. Here, the tank continues with a multi-sculpted design featuring edgy and muscular tank shrouds on both sides. It not only enhances sportiness in design but also directs airflow to the engine, ensuring cooling efficiency.
Next, the motorcycle features a sporty step-up and split-type seating arrangement where the passenger seat is complemented by double-horn grabrails and the double-pit LED tail lamp is mounted underneath. Thus, the tail is absolutely naked, and an extension arm simply holds the turn indicators and registration plate hanger, which also works as a rear wheel fender. Consequently, matching the same naked and edgy styling, the side panels also come with a compact design.
Lastly, the motorcycle features a unique shape of exhaust muffler that is much beefier. It combines both plastic and metal-plate covering that gives a bigger-bike-like impression. In the rests, along with an engine underbelly pan, fatter profile alloy wheel setup, and aggressive dual-color tone, the motorcycle showcases a brutal streetfighter appearance that undoubtedly is an impressive addition to Honda’s current product line.
Honda CB125 Hornet – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System
The new Honda CB125 Hornet is designed on a steel tubular diamond frame and steel tube swingarm. The wheels feature alloy rims and tubeless type street tires in measure of 80/100-17 in the front and a 110/80-17 at the rear.
The braking system consists of hydraulic disc brakes on the front wheel, and the rear wheel features a conventional drum-type brake. Additionally, the front braking system is enhanced with a single-channel ABS for enhanced braking safety.
In the suspension system, the motorcycle features USD fork suspension at the front. At the rear, it features an adjustable mono-shock absorber connected to the swingarm hinge. These competent features ensure a reliable performance, control, and handling of the bike.
Honda CB125 Hornet – Engine Performance & Features
The Honda CB125 Hornet is a modern and advanced, feature-packed naked-sport bike. It comes with a 123.94cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that features a bore and stroke of 50.0mm x 63.12mm and a compression ratio of 10.0:1. This engine also features a 2-valve system and is enhanced with a PGM-FI fuel injection system.
The engine is fitted with a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 5-speed gear transmission with the pattern 1-N-2-3-4-5. The motorcycle starts using electric start systems only.
In the power and performance, the Honda CB125 Hornet engine has been optimized for smoother power and torque delivery and ensuring improved fuel efficiency. The engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 10.99BHP at 7,500RPM and a torque of 11.2Nm at 6,000RPM.
