The engine features a compression ratio of 9.3:1 and its fuel feeding system is equipped with Honda’s PGM-FI system. The transmission features a six-speed gear transmission system in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6.
Here, the clutch is a multi-plate wet type clutch and the starting is an electric start system only. Coming to the performance figure, the engine is tweaked for better on-road performance and maximum fuel efficiency. The engine can produce the maximum power of 24.13 bhp at 7,500RPM and the torque of 25.6Nm at 5,500RPM. Therefore, the CB300F can accelerate faster and gain a significant top speed while ensuring a decent figure of fuel economy under standard riding and environmental conditions.
