Introduction

The Honda CB250R is a quarter-liter naked street-sport bike in the Honda CB Street motorcycle lineup manufactured by the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Honda. The motorcycle is manufactured by Thai Honda Manufacturing Co., Ltd., generally known as Honda Motorcycle Thailand. The Honda CB250R is a model variant side-by-side the bigger CB300R model whereas, this quarter-liter machine earned huge popularity in the market.

At a glance, the Honda CB250R successfully stands in between the CB150R and CB300R models featuring a power-tuned 250cc capacity engine. With nimble riding and handling features, this model comes with iconic design and styling which is very similar to the bigger CB300R model. Honda CB250R – Physical Attributes:

The motorcycle is a naked-sport model that was born blending streetfighter features with old-school design elements. Therefore, in the design, it swaps many of the body parts designs from the old-day motorcycles. 

However, as a modern retro-neo motorcycle the Honda CB250R proudly represents a neo-styling which gave the motorcycle a different identity on the roads. The motorcycle features a stunning naked profile all over its exteriors featuring old-school vibes. In the body profile, the motorcycle comes with muscular, scalped, and dented bodywork, especially on the fuel tank and at the front end. At the tail, the motorcycle is very minimalistic in design and absolutely compact. 

Here, the headlamp of the motorcycle is a solid part of the attraction that features a round-shaped multi-pit LED headlamp assembly beholding integrated LED DRL. On the fully naked top, it holds a fully digital TFT ODO console that holds LED turn signals on both sides. Next, the handlebar is a pipe handlebar that is positioned in sporty upright mode and features an extensive range of control switches on both sides.

After that, the fuel tank holds an iconic CB design which is also shared in the CB300R model that nicely tackles heavy muscles and some serious sharp curves. Matching the design the fuel tank features matt-paneled shrouds on both sides covering the engine cooling radiator and features an engine underbelly pan along with compact side panels in sequence. However, the seat of the motorcycle is a split-type seat that is quite tightly arranged where the rider and passenger seating positioned at different heights. 

Meanwhile, the tail of the motorcycle is absolutely compact and it somewhat sliced instantly after the passenger seat. It has no grabrail and the LED tail lamp is completely matted under the passenger seat. However, the tail features a bikini registration plate hanger and turn indicators on both sides. In the rests, the motorcycle proudly features a beefy exhaust barrel that is matt finished but an oxidized metal cap and headshield nicely expose its sportiness and overall gravity of the motorcycle. Thus, the motorcycle appears to be much more aggressive, sporty, and classy in its overall profile.


Honda CB250R – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

The Honda CB250R is a highly competent street-naked motorcycle that shares almost the same body profile as the Honda CB300R model. Therefore, both the motorcycles share quite the same structural elements like the frame, wheel, brake, & suspension system. However, the motorcycle is designed on a steel-tube diamond frame.

In the wheels, it features all-alloy rims and tubeless type tires in measure of 110/70-17 in the front and 150/60-17 at the rear. In the brakes, it comes with hydraulic disc brake setups on both wheels and are enhanced with Dual-channel ABS in the braking system.

In the suspension system, the Hinda CB250R comes with 41mm USD telescopic fork suspension in the front, and at the rear, it features a Pro-Link® mono shock absorber. However, the rear shock absorber is 5-step adjustable. Thus, the it features a compatible wheel, brake, & suspension setup.


Honda CB250R – Engine Performance & Features:

The Honda CB250R is a true streetfighter that copies some of the old-school elements on its design profile. Meanwhile, the motorcycle comes with a quarter-liter capacity engine. The engine is a 249cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, DOHC 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine that features a bore & stroke of 76.0mm x 55.0mm. 

The engine features a compression ratio of 10.7:1 and its fuel feeding system is a PGM-FI along with a transistorized ignition system. The Honda CB250R engine comes with a six-speed gear transmission in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. The clutch is a multi-plate wet-type assist slipper clutch and the starting is an electric start system only. 

Coming to the performance figure, the engine is tweaked for better street performance and maximum fuel efficiency. It can deliver the maximum power of 26.60 BHP at 9,000RPM and the torque of 23N.m at 8,000RPM. Therefore, the engine can accelerate faster and gain a significant top speed while ensuring a decent figure of fuel economy under standard riding and environmental conditions.
