Introduction

The Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is a sports addition to the Hero Xtreme motorcycle lineup. Hero MotoCorp has showcased the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V as an extension in their Xtreme motorcycle series. It's a power commuter that is specially designed with street sport ergonomics. Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is a fully-faired street-sport machine in the Hero Xtreme motorcycle series which is considered an upgrade from the existing street-naked models. The new motorcycle features a powerful 200cc 4-valve engine supported by an electronic fuel injection system. Moreover, the motorcycle features a capable wheel, brake, and suspension system that offers improved performance. The renowned motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp Ltd., based in India is showcasing the Hero Xtreme 200S 4V as a fully-faired sport addition to this series. Maintaining the sporty design elements of the series, this machine comes with a full-faze sportbike-like design and features enhanced technical features. 

In the design, the Xtreme 200S 4V adopted an all-new exterior that sketches true sportbike attire. As a sports commuter, the motorcycle highlights an aerodynamic body design. Especially certain components such as the headlamp assembly, fuel tank, side panel, rear panel, and exhaust setup boast its sportbike identity. Side-by-side the same design emoluments are also found on the ODO console, handlebars, seating arrangement, and even at the tail.

Meanwhile, the rider and passenger seats are positioned at different heights.

The compact sporty exhaust barrel appears to be a sportier part that boasts its aggressiveness. Hero Xtreme 200S 4V – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

The Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is equipped with a Tubular Diamond frame, which is consistent across the entire current lineup of Hero Xtreme motorcycles. Sequentially, the motorcycle maintains a very decent configuration of the wheel, brake, and suspension system. 

In the wheels, it fitted with sporty alloy rims and 100/80-17 tire at the front and a 130/70-17 tire at the rear. In the braking system, the Xtreme 200S 4V features hydraulic disc brakes on both the front wheel and rear wheels. Furthermore, the front braking system is augmented by a single-channel ABS for enhanced braking safety. 

In the suspension system, the motorcycle comes with an upright telescopic fork suspension at the front. At the rear, it incorporates an adjustable mono-shock absorber connected to the rectangular swingarm hinge. These competent features ensure the reliable performance of this new motorcycle.


Hero Xtreme 200S 4V – Engine Performance & Features:

The Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is a modern street sportbike that comes equipped with an updated 199.6cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, oil-cooled engine. This engine features a bore and stroke of 66.5mm x 57.5mm and a compression ratio of 10:01. Here the valvetrain is an OHC 4-valve system and fuel feeding is enhanced with an electronic fuel injection system. 

The engine is fitted with a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 5-speed gear transmission with the pattern 1-N-2-3-4-5. The motorcycle starts using an electric start system. In terms of power and performance, the new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V engine has been optimized to deliver enhanced power, torque, and improved fuel efficiency. The engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 18.84BHP at 8,500RPM and a torque of 17.35Nm at 6,500RPM.
