Introduction

The Hero Xpulse 200T 4V is an updated street commuting motorcycle to the Hero Xpulse motorcycle series. Hero MotoCorp has released this all-new Xpulse 200T 4V model as a part of their recent Xpulse motorcycle lineup. It's a power commuter that is specially designed with old-school-inspired design and styling. With unique riding ergonomics, the motorcycle is purposefully featured to offer a comfortable commuting experience that also ensures improved engine performance and excellent fuel efficiency. 

It is a solid street-naked machine in the Hero Xpulse motorcycle series that is considered as an urban commuter featuring a number of street-biased features. The motorcycle features a powerful 200cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve engine supported by an electronic fuel injection system. The motorcycle also features a capable range of wheel, brake, and suspension systems that offer competent performance. Hence, along with all the technical advancements the motorcycle is attractively designed to be an eye-catcher on the roads.


Hero Xpulse 200T 4V – Physical Attributes:

The Hero Xpulse 200T4V is the latest updated model in the Hero Xpulse motorcycle series. The Hero Xpulse is a uniquely featured commuter series known for its exceptional design and styling. The motorcycle is manufactured by Hero MotoCorp Ltd., the renowned motorcycle and scooter manufacturer based in India. The all-new Xpulse 200T 4V is an updated street machine to this unique motorcycle lineup. Maintaining the old-school design elements of the series, this road-biased machine came with an iconic design and an extensive range of road-riding features.

In the design, it adopted almost the same exterior profile that is featured in the other Xpulse models. As a street model, the new it also showcases true streetfighter ergonomics featuring the same naked-sport body profile, upright sporty riding ergonomics, and road-biased wheel and suspension systems. Meanwhile, both the Xpulse 200T and 200T 4V share the same body design, and the 4V version is simply enhanced with a new graphics scheme.

However, at first look, the new Xpulse 200T 4V also catches its attention with its multi-pit LED headlamp assembly featuring integrated LED DRLs. Above the headlamp, a fully digital ODO cluster is mounted naked after a bikini fairing. The ODO displays an extensive range of parameters. Next, the single-piece pipe handlebar that comes with necessary control switch arrangements, that support the motorcycle's overall control and functionality.

The fuel tank retains the same unit that is featured throughout the Xpulse series as the previous version. Over a rounded-oval design, it received multiple dents, and the graphics scheme that kept matched till the compact side panels. Then, the seat comes with a single-piece design that is straight but sporty in appearance. An integrated grabrail has been added at the end of the passenger seat, while the tail section holds an extended rear wheel mudguard featuring a registration plate hanger and rear turn indicators.

In the sequence, the new Xpulse 200T 4V also features the same exhaust muffler that is much beefy in in profile featuring a unique design. The compact sporty exhaust barrel appears to be a sportier part of the motorcycle that nicely matches the overall old-school couture of the bike. Therefore, the entire design of the new version of the motorcycle gorgeously showcases its compactness and muscularity and reflects its aggressive urban commuting nature.


Hero Xpulse 200T 4V – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

The new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V is an old-school styled road bike that equipped with a tubular diamond frame that is consistent across the entire Xpulse motorcycle lineup. Being a street model the Xpulse 200T 4V features a very decent configuration in terms of the wheel, brake, and suspension system. In the wheels, it fitted with sporty alloy rims along with tubeless type street tires in measure of 100/80-17 size tire in the front and 130/70-17 tire at the rear.

In the braking system, the Hero Xpulse 200T 4V features hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels, and the front braking system is augmented by a single-channel ABS for enhanced braking safety. The suspension system of the motorcycle comes with comparatively a longer travel suspension setup. The motorcycle is fitted with a 37mm upright telescopic fork suspension at the front. At the rear, it incorporates a 7-step adjustable mono-shock absorber connected to the swingarm hinge.


Hero Xpulse 200T 4V – Engine Performance & Features:

The Hero Xpulse 200T 4V is a modern, feature-packed street-naked commuter motorcycle. The motorcycle is equipped with an updated 199.6cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-oil-cooled engine. This engine features an OHC 4-valve system and fuel feeding is equipped with an electronic fuel injection system instead of an old carburetor fuel feeding system. Here, the compression ratio is 10.0:1.

The engine is fitted with a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 5-speed gear transmission with the pattern 1-N-2-3-4-5. The motorcycle starts using both Kickstarter and electric start systems. In terms of power and performance, this bikes engine has been optimized to deliver a decent range of power and torque figures and also provide improved fuel economy. The engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 18.9BHP at 8,500RPM and a torque of 17.35Nm at 6,500RPM.
