Hero Xpulse is a dedicated dual-sport motorcycle series in the Hero motorcycle and scooter lineup, and the new Xpulse 200 4V Pro is an updated version in the series. This updated 4V Pro version comes with a bundle of upgraded features along with an updated 4-valve engine that ensures enhanced performance. Therefore, Hero MotoCorp has released the new Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro as an advanced featured machine to their Xpulse motorcycle lineup.
In the core, the new Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro is a dual-terrain commuter that is uniquely designed with an old-school-inspired design and retro styling. With unique riding ergonomics, the motorcycle is dedicatedly features comfortable commuting characteristics that make it eligible to ride on both on-road and off-road ensuring decent engine performance and competitive range of fuel economy. Moreover, as a dual-terrain machine, the Xpulse 200 4V Pro also features a number of off-road-biased tweaks.
However, the new Xpulse 200 4V Pro version features a decently powerful 200cc single-cylinder engine featuring an OHC 4-valve system and supported by an electronic fuel injection system. The motorcycle also features a capable range of dual-terrain biased wheel, brake, and suspension systems, and the Pro version features longer travel suspension, larger ground clearance, taller seat height, and an upraised handlebar setup that make the motorcycle more capable for tough off-roads.

However, the Xpulse motorcycles are known for their unique design, styling, and comfortable riding ergonomics, where the models hold almost an identical design language.
In the exterior profile, the Xpulse 200 4V Pro adopts almost the same exterior profile as featured in other Xpulse models. The motorcycle features dual-terrain riding ergonomics beholding a retro-styled naked body profile, all-upright riding characteristics, and an off-road-biased wheel and suspension setup. However, the motorcycle shares the same-to-same body design, which is also featured in the Xpulse 200 4V standard model.
However, similarly the Xpulse 200 4V Pro catches attention with its multi-pit LED headlamp assembly featuring a rally-style large windshield on the top and the high-raised front wheel fender. The headlamp features all-LED light and an integrated DRL setup. Above the headlamp, a fully digital ODO cluster is mounted inside the transparent windshield that displays an extensive range of parameters.
Next, the single-piece and wider pipe handlebar comes with integrated knuckle guards on both sides, and the handlebar features necessary control switches. Here, the fuel tank retains the same unit that is featured throughout the Xpulse series. Over a rounded-oval design, it received multiple dents, and a different color and graphical scheme to differentiate the Pro model.
Then, the seat comes with a single-piece design that is straight to better comply with dual-terrain riding scenarios. At the tail, it has an integrated grabrail after the passenger seat that extensively features a luggage plate with bungee hook fixing arrangements. Meanwhile, the tail section also holds an extended rear wheel mudguard featuring a registration plate hanger and rear turn indicators.
In the sequence, the motorcycle features a beefy upswept exhaust muffler aligned in an uplifted position beside the rear sub-frame featuring an identical design. The new Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro is an updated version in the Hero Xpulse motorcycle series. The motorcycle is equipped with a high-tensile steel frame that is similar to the standard Xpulse 200 4V model. Being an upgraded model, this Pro version comes with some enhanced features and an updated configuration than the standard Xpulse 200 4V model.
Therefore, Xpulse 200 4V Pro features 891mm seat height and 270mm ground clearance, comes with handlebar raisers, and the motorcycle weighs around 161kg. In the wheels, it is fitted with conventional wired-spoke steel rims along with tube-type dual-purpose tires in the measure of 90/90-21 size tire in the front and 120/80-18 tire in the rear.
In the braking system, the motorcycle features hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels, and the braking system is enhanced by a single-channel ABS feature. The Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro is a feature-packed small-capacity dual-terrain commuter motorcycle. The motorcycle is equipped with an updated 199.6cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, oil-cooled engine. This engine features a bore & stroke of 66.5mm x 57.5mm and a compression ratio of 10.5:1. Here, the valve system is an OHC 4-valve system, and fuel feeding is equipped with an electronic fuel injection system.
The engine is fitted with a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 5-speed gear transmission with the pattern 1-N-2-3-4-5. The motorcycle starts using both Kickstarter and an electric start system. In terms of power and performance, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V Pro engine now has been optimized to deliver a decently increased range of power and torque figures, ensuring improved fuel economy. The engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 18.91BHP at 8,500RPM and a torque of 17.35Nm at 6,500RPM.
