Hero Glamour X 125 Overview

Introduction

The new Hero Glamour X 125 is a newly released machine in the Hero commuter motorcycle lineup. It’s an updated version very recently added in the Hero Glamour commuter motorcycle series, marketed by Hero MotoCorp Limited. The motorcycle now comes with an updated Sprint EBT engine that features the latest tweaking and refinement. Therefore, this new version is now efficient in engine performance that can offer more enjoyable riding experience ensuring more fuel economy in daily rides.

However, in the exterior design, the new Hero Glamour X 125 also features all-new exterior profile that somewhat breaks its decade old identical appearance. Hero Glamour X 125 – Physical Attributes:

Hero Glamour is a dedicated entry-level commuter motorcycle series from Hero, and Hero Glamour X 125 is the latest and updated version of the motorcycle in the series. This new version of the motorcycle now comes with an all-new exterior profile that is very eye-catching and smart-looking in its color and graphical schemes. This new version now breaks the decade-old design and now features a bold, sharp and edgy profile rather rounded shape that featured in older versions.

In the looks and design, the motorcycle got a significant facelift with its all-new headlamp assembly that is now fitted with a dedicated dual-pit LED headlamp featuring H-shaped LED DRLs inside. The flexible LED turn indicators are nicely mounted on both sides. On the top, it features quite a larger bubbled windshield that enhances its aerodynamics, and it looks sporty.

Inside the windshield, a fully digital TFT console shines in the cockpit that has Bluetooth connectivity with the user’s smartphone and features an extensive range of controlling parameters. The cockpit also features a USB charging port, and the one-piece pipe handlebar features an extensive range of control switches on both sides. Meanwhile, the switches have integration with the TFT ODO console that helps to navigate and control many electronic features.

Next, the motorcycle features a redesigned fuel tank that is quite bigger in size and edgy in shape. It features sharply designed aerodynamic shroud extensions on both sides. Thus, along with redesigned side panels, it literally enhances the overall design attraction of the motorcycle that maintains a sleek bodyline from its head to tail. However, the seat of the motorcycle is a single-piece unit, but nicely curved for comfortable seating. 

The seat is large, cushioned, and spacious enough, and has heavy grabrail support at the tail and an H-shaped LED tail lamp underneath. The tail also large mudguard holding registration plate hanger and LED turn indicators on both sides. In the rests, the Glamour X 125 features nicely designed alloy wheels and mudguard setups. The exhaust barrel also matches the overall gravity of the motorcycle. Thus, the motorcycle comes with a sporty design that is pretty attractive and it now looks smarter and sportier than was before.


Hero Glamour X 125 – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

Hero Glamour X 125 is a newly updated commuter motorcycle. It’s a stylish and comfortable commuter motorcycle that is designed on a steel diamond frame and tubular swingarm. On the wheels, Hero Glamour X 125 holds sporty 5-spoke alloy rims and tubeless type street tires in the measure of 80/100-18” in the front and 100/80-18” at the rear. 

In the braking system, the standard version of Hero Glamour X 125 comes with a hydraulic disc braking system in the front wheel, and at the rear, it holds a conventional drum-type brake. The braking system is enhanced with the IBS safety braking feature. Coming to the suspension system, the motorcycle features a regular hydraulic telescopic fork suspension in the front, and at the rear, it holds the spring-loaded twin shock absorbers attached to the swingarm.


Hero Glamour X 125 – Engine Features:

Hero Glamour X 125 is a very smartly designed commuter motorcycle that holds a fuel-efficient and decently performing Sprint EBT engine that features updated tweaking and refinement. The engine is precisely a 124.7cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled, i3S engine that features a bore & stroke of 52.4mmx57.8mm and a compression ratio of 9.9:1. Here, the valve system is SOHC 2-valve, where the fuel feeding is electronic fuel-injection type.

The engine transmission features a 5-speed gear in the sequence of 1-N-2-3-4-5, and the clutch is a multi-plate wet-type. This throttle-by-wire engine features both electric and manual kick-starter systems, and it has an integrated cruise control system and easy switchable three dedicated riding modes. In the power and torque figures, the Hero Glamour X 125 engine can deliver the maximum power of 11.4BHP at 8,250RPM and torque of 10.5N.m at 6,500RPM. Thus, the motorcycle is refined very efficiently for smoother power delivery and ensures a significant range of fuel economy.
