Hero Glamour BS4 is a newly added and updated version of Hero Glamour in HERO’s commuter motorcycle series, marketed by Hero MotoCorp Limited. The motorcycle now features BS4 engine refinement and tweaking. However, in the design and exterior profile, the new Hero Glamour BS4 remains unchanged maintaining its identical profile similar to the base model. Hero Glamour BS4 – Physical Attributes:

Hero Glamour is a dedicated entry-level commuter motorcycle in the Hero motorcycle and scooter lineup that has earned a vast popularity among commuter motorcycle riders. The new Hero Glamour BS4 is the updated version of the motorcycle that now features a refined engine tweaked to make it a more efficient machine to better match daily life commuting.

In the design and aesthetics, the motorcycle remains the same motorcycle as is in the base variant, but it is now upgraded with new graphics and color schemes. However, the motorcycle features a boldly designed headlamp assembly featuring halogen light and a parking light inside. Inside a bikini headlamp cowling, the ODO console is an analog-digital combo unit.

After the pipe handlebars, the motorcycle features a metal fuel tank and a single-piece and semi-step-up seat. The seat is spacious enough and the tail is complemented by a heavy grabrail. Under the grabrail, the tail features a large tail lamp, turn indicators, and a registration plate hanger. In the other body elements, the motorcycle features nicely designed side panels, mudguard, and exhaust muffler, which altogether gave the bike a very decent look.

The motorcycle is designed on a steel diamond frame that holds a tilted, vertically aligned petrol engine. On the wheels, Hero Glamour BS4 holds sporty 5-spoke alloy rims and tubeless type street tires in measure of 2.75 X 18” in the front and 3.00 X 18” at the rear. 

In the braking system, Hero Glamour BS4 comes with a hydraulic disc braking system in the front wheel, and at the rear, it holds a conventional drum-type brake. In the suspension system, the motorcycle features a regular hydraulic telescopic fork suspension in the front, and at the rear, it holds the spring-loaded double shock absorbers attached to the swingarm.

Hero Glamour BS4 – Engine Features:

Hero Glamour BS4 is a smartly designed, simple, and straightforward commuter motorcycle that holds a fuel-efficient and decently performing engine. The engine is precisely a 124.7cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that features a bore & stroke of 52.4mmx57.8mm and a compression ratio of 9.1:1. Here, the valve system is SOHC 2-valve, where the fuel feeding is carburetor type.

The engine starting system features both electric and manual kick-starter systems, and the transmission features a 4-speed gear in the sequence of 1-N-2-3-4, where the clutch is a multi-plate wet-type. In the power and torque figures, the engine can deliver the maximum power of 9.0BHP@7,000RPM and torque of 10.35N.m@4,000RPM. Thus, the motorcycle is very efficient in power delivery, and it also ensures a significant range of fuel economy.
