FB Mondial HPS 150 is an exclusively designed cafe-racer category motorcycle that has been released by the Italian motorcycle manufacturer FB Mondial. The motorcycle is designed in Italy by Mondial with its own higher specification of chassis design and overall styling but the engine and motorcycle manufacturing is done by Piaggio in China who also is the producer of other renowned Italian brands motorcycles like Aprilia and Vespa. Hence the new FB Mondial HPS 150 design is an eye-catchy fusion of the classic F.B. Mondial personality with advanced modern technology.

FB Mondial HPS 150  – Physical Attributes:

The new FB Mondial HPS 150 is a great-looking exclusively designed cafe-racer machine that blends old classic styling with modern and advanced technical features. Thus it has designed something unique that holds cafe racer ergonomics but solely holds uniqueness. Technically it’s a 150cc small capacity commuter category cafe racer motorcycle that holds the old-school retro-styling especially shadows the classic FB Mondial model.

The new FB Mondial HPS 150 exclusively is retaining the café feel and has been designed taking inspiration from the 1960s and 70s café racer motorcycles which were built in Europe for solo rides. But the overall exterior is somewhat grown adopting an aggressive but classy modern styling. Accordingly, the motorcycle gorgeously reflects both modern and old school design from its head to tail.

At the front, the motorcycle holds a classic oval rounded headlamp and a fully rounded ODO console that is mounted on the top. Both the units featured modern technical advancements where the ODO is fully digital and the headlamp is featured with powerful halogen light. The turning indicators are mounted on both sides of the headlamp and the rearview mirrors are placed at the edge of the low-mounted large and semi straightened pipe handlebar.

Here the fuel tank is designed edgy that holds slashed plastic panels from both sides where the scoop holds the engine cooling radiator underneath. Side panels are compact and the tail ends with the old-school curved single seat. The motorcycle is designed for a single rider but there is a bikini top at the end of the rider seat and also has a pillion footrest arrangement. But it seems it’s just a show-off where it’s nothing more than a tail that holds a bikini tail lamp and turning indicator lights.

Coming to the rests, the rear wheel is fully naked but has a small bikini registration plate hanger attached to the swingarm. Matching with the same the front wheel also got a bikini chrome plate mudguard and impressively both the wheels are featured with spoke rims and a dual terrain tire setup. Here the motorcycle most attractively holds a naked and exposed twin-barrel chrome exhaust pipe that is mounted higher that aligned with the right side panel. Hence altogether the motorcycle represents an exclusive design and it looks gorgeous in the crowd.

Lifan KPM150 – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

FB Mondial HPS 150 is a neo old-school style dubbed café-racer motorcycle from FB Mondial. The motorcycle is designed on a steel frame. On the wheels, the motorcycle holds old-school-styled spoke rims and tube-type semi-knobbed fatter dual terrain tires. In the braking system, the motorcycle comes with a hydraulic disc braking setup on both wheels. Further, the motorcycle also featured dual-channel ABS enhancement in the braking system.

In the suspension system, FB Mondial HPS 150 comes with a longer travel USD hydraulic telescopic fork suspension system in the front, and at the rear, it holds a double suspension unit that is attached to the swingarm. The rear suspensions gas charged and adjustable type. Thus the motorcycle comes with a very decent and exclusively capable setup of wheels, brake, and suspension system, and those are featured for better on and off terrain performances.

FB Mondial HPS 150 – Engine Performance & Features:

The new FB Mondial HPS 150 is a retro cafe-racer type commuter range of motorcycles. The motorcycle comes with a 150cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC 4-valve, fuel injection engine. The engine features a manual multi-plate wet clutch system and a 6-speed gear transmission in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6. And, the engine starting is featured with an electric start system only. 

In power and performance figures, the new FB Mondial HPS 150 engine is tweaked for smoother power delivery, a sharp acceleration, and efficient fuel economy. Accordingly, the engine is rated to squeeze out the maximum power of 14.5BHP@9,750RPM and the torque of 10.5Nm@8,000RPM. Thus the motorcycle is tweaked to cruise at the top speed of around 110kmph and also can ensure a fuel economy of around 40kmpl considering the standard riding and environmental conditions.
