The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon is the smallest Pulsar model in the Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle lineup produced by Bajaj Auto Limited. The motorcycle features a 125cc engine and solely copies the iconic design elements of the existing Pulsar 150 base model which has been rolling in this market for over two decades. Thus, the new Pulsar 125 Neo can be called a miniature version of the existing Pulsar 150, but it extensively features new color and graphics scheme along with a smaller engine setup.

The new Pulsar 125 Neon is a small commuter that is featured for low-cost commuting. Therefore, the motorcycle is more economical in terms of fuel economy, but it can deliver a decent power output, which makes the motorcycle capable of dealing with daily life endeavors faced in city and downtown rides. However, the new motorcycle also comprehensively utilizes the iconic design elements on its exterior, therefore, it is designed to be a stylish and modern commuter that’s really cool.

Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon – Physical Attributes:

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon is the youngest Pulsar in the Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle series. In the physical attributes, the new motorcycle holds the same iconic identity of the Pulsar 150 base model from top to bottom. The motorcycle holds the same design and styling that is featured in its parent model. Thus, in the exterior, it can be called a smaller version of the on-rolling Pulsar 150 base model which was born in 2001.

However, in the physical appearance, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon features nothing new except all-new color and graphics scheme from the Pulsar 150 model. In the exteriors, the motorcycle holds the same metal fuel tank fencing with bikini cowling. The headlamp remains the same with a powerful halogen headlamp and wolf-eye double pilot lamps.

Here, the handlebar is a 3-part split unit that features a sporty riding mood. The seat of the motorcycle also remains a single-piece unit that has a metal grabrail support at the end and gorgeously holds the iconic razor-sharp and slashed taillamp. In this new model, the motorcycle has an underbelly engine cowling that looks cool.

In the other features, the exhaust muffler usually looks the same, but it has been finished with all-black matte finishes. Meanwhile, the motorcycle features a stock full chain cover, sharee-guard, and front crash guard to ensure better safety for daily commuting riders. Thus, along with the new color and graphics schemes, this new motorcycle still can be appealing to many of the commuting riders no doubt.

Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon is the smallest capacity model in the Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle series. The motorcycle comes with a convenient setup of the wheel, brake, and suspension systems. The motorcycle is constructed on a double-cradle steel diamond frame.

In the wheels, the motorcycle features alloy wheels and tubeless-type tires on both wheels measuring 80/100-17 size in the front and 100/90-17 size at the rear. In the braking system, the motorcycle features a hydraulic disk brake in its front wheel, and at the rear, it holds a conventional drum-type brake.

Coming to the suspension setup, the motorcycle holds conventional upright hydraulic fork suspension in the front, and at the rear, it features double shock absorbers featuring dual spring setup. However, the rear shock absorbers are Nitrox Gas-charged and have a few steps of adjustability.

Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon – Engine Performance & Features:

The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon is a sporty commuter that comes with a decently powerful and fuel-efficient engine which is tweaked for economic commuting. The engine is a 124c.4c, single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke, twin-spark DTS-I engine. The engine features a SOHC 2-Valve mechanism and the fuel feeding is CV carburetor type.

Here, the clutch is a wet multi-plate clutch where the transmission is fitted with a 5-speed gear in the pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5. The engine starting is featured with both electric and manual kick-start systems.

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon engine is now tuned to deliver the maximum power of 11.8BHP at 8,500RPM and torque of 11Nm@6,500RPM. The engine is much refined to ensure smoother power delivery and decent acceleration.
