AIMA A511 is a compactly designed electric moped in the AIMA e-bike lineup. It produced and marketed by the Chinese electric motorcycle and scooter manufacturer AIMA. It’s a pretty decently featured e-moped that comes with a conventional on-bone scooter-like design. Consequently, AIMA A511 is designed on an on-bone frame and features a conventional scooter-like wheel, brake, and suspension setup.

Being an electric moped, AIMA A511 features an electric motor and rechargeable battery setup instead of the conventional gasoline engine. It also comes with the necessary street-legal elements and it is enhanced with convenient commuting-focused features to support our daily short-distance commuting. AIMA A511 – Physical Attributes:

AIMA A511 is a compact electric moped in the AIMA e-bike lineup that is comprehensively profiled as a low-cost commuter. It’s a modern e-bike that comes with a compact design built on an on-bone frame and features conventional scooter-like aesthetics, featuring a spacious footboard at the rider's footrest, and proper wheel, brake, and suspension setups.

On the exterior, the scooter follows a simple and minimalistic design. The front assembly of the moped features a large panel that is curved and a bit rounded at the corners. It holds a rectangular headlamp assembly that is fitted with sharply visible LED lights along with integrated LED DRL and LED turn indicator setups.

On top, the handlebar holds a fully digital ODO in the middle mounted inside a tiny plastic shield. The ODO is comprehensively featured with necessary display perimeters, and the handlebar features necessary control switches. Next, the inner panel nicely covers the on-bone footrest position and extends up to the lower panel under the seat. 

Here, the seat is a single-piece seat, and its tail features a very minimal design. Matching the design, the tail features a metal grab rail and the plastic panel holds an LED tail lamp and LED turn indicators. So, along with a sporty wheel setup, AIMA A511 is entirely nicely finished, which also looks decent and smart.

AIMA A511 – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

AIMA A511 is a compact electric moped and it is designed for daily commuting.  The moped is designed on an on-bone frame and features a floorboard at the rider’s footrest. It fitted with convenient wheel, brake, and suspension setup. Here, the wheels are fitted with alloy rims and fitted with 3.0-10 size tubeless type tires on both wheels. 

The braking system features hydraulic disc brake in the front wheel and conventional drum-type brake on the rear wheel. In the suspension system, the moped comes with a hydraulic telescopic fork suspension in the front, and at the rear, it features a spring-loaded twin shock absorber system attached to the swingarm.

AIMA A511 – Motor Performance & Features:

The AIMA A511 is a featured daily commuting e-moped and it comes with a 1000W brushless DC motor and a 72V 35Ah battery. Here, the standard motor and battery are configured to allow the scooter to roll at a top speed of a maximum 52kmph, and it can give a decent range of battery backup. The standard battery can be charged within 6-8 hours by a regular AC wall socket.
