TVS Auto Bangladesh, one of the leading two-wheeler companies in Bangladesh, has recently launched its highly anticipated 125cc sport commuter TVS Raider 125 motorcycle in Bangladesh. The motorcycle has delicately designed to cater to the needs of the modern day commuters. Therefore, the Raider 125 aims to offer a combination of style, performance, and fuel efficiency. As an avid motorcycle enthusiast, I had the privilege of taking this new TVS Raider 125 for a test ride, and I must say, it left a lasting impression which I am going to share here with you.
First and foremost, the TVS Raider 125 boasts a striking design that stands out on the roads. The motorcycle features a sharp and aggressive front end with sleek LED headlights that provide excellent visibility, even during nighttime rides. The fuel tank design is muscular and adds to the overall sporty appeal of the bike. The split-seat setup and blacked-out alloy wheels further enhance its visual appeal, making it a head-turner wherever it goes.
As I swung my leg over the TVS Raider 125 first time, I immediately noticed its comfortable riding posture. The well-padded seat and the upright handlebar position ensure that both short and long rides are fatigue-free. The switchgear is neatly laid out and easy to operate, offering a true sense of convenience and control.
Firing up the engine, I was greeted by a refined and smooth exhaust note. For your information, the TVS Raider 125 is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 12.7 BHP and 11.5 Nm of torque, making it ideal for city commutes and occasional highway rides.
From my test ride experience I can say the engine's power delivery is smooth and linear that offers ample low-end torque for quick acceleration in traffic.
The motorcycle effortlessly can maneuver through congested city roads, thanks to its nimble handling characteristics and light-weighted chassis. However, during my test ride, I had the opportunity to push the Raider 125 to its limits on open highways.
I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. The bike ensures excellent stability at higher speeds, and the engine felt strong and eager to go faster. It handled corners with confidence, aided by the grippy tires and a well-tuned suspension setup that absorbed most of the bumps and undulations effortlessly.
Next, TVS has equipped the Raider 125 with a range of features that enhance the overall riding experience. The fully digital instrument cluster provides all the necessary information at a glance, including speed, fuel level, gear position, and trip meter.
The bike also comes with an engine kill switch, pass light, and a USB charging port, catering to the demands of the modern-day rider.
Coming to the braking performance, it is vital, especially in the busy streets of Bangladesh, and the TVS Raider 125 does not disappoint in this aspect. The front disc brake offers confident stopping power, while the rear drum brake provides adequate support. The motorcycle also comes with a Synchronized Braking Technology which ensures better stability and control while braking.

Raider 125 has one of the best suspensions in its segment. In the front TVS has given the conventional telescopic hydraulic fork and at the rear they gave the 5-step adjustable monoshock and gas charged suspension.
Next, the fuel economy is a crucial factor for any commuter motorcycle, and the Raider 125 delivers on that front as well. TVS claims a mileage figure of around 50-52 km/l, making it an economical choice for daily commuting needs.
In conclusion, the TVS Raider 125 is an impressive offering from the renowned Indian motorcycle manufacturer TVS. Its stylish design, comfortable ergonomics, and enjoyable performance exclusively make it a worthy contender in the 125cc segment in Bangladesh. With its attractive price point and a reputation for reliability, the Raider 125 is sure to find a place among the hearts of riders who seek a blend of style and efficiency in that range.
