The compact muscular look, V-shaped headlight, aerodynamic shape, compact dual-barrel exhaust, and curvy single seat make the bike quite appealing. Additionally, the bike is equipped with a 154.9cc, 4-stroke engine that produces a maximum of 14.6 horsepower at 8,000 RPM and 14 Newton meters of torque at 6,000 RPM, which delivers more powerful performance compared to many other bikes in this segment. 

The seat height and ground clearance are quite low, making it easy for even a 5.3-inch tall rider to control. At the same time, the look of this bike will provide a good road presence for young riders, and its ready pickup and braking combination make it suitable for riders of all ages. Furthermore, its maintenance cost is low, and parts are officially available throughout Bangladesh, making it a good option for those who are concerned about maintenance.

Suzuki Gixxer Monotone - Limitations

The Gixxer 155 Monotone does have some noticeable limitations. The first limitation is its headlight. Although LED lights were not very common when this model was launched, riding at night with a halogen bulb is quite challenging. 

The next limitation is its rear drum brake. Although Suzuki’s braking system is considered one of the best, having a disc brake instead of a drum brake would have increased riding confidence. 

Another significant issue, which almost all Monotone users have reported, is that the clutch and gear shifter are very tight. This puts a lot of pressure on the hands and feet during city rides. Additionally, the pillion seat is not very comfortable for long rides, which is a negative point for those who frequently travel long distances with family.
