Continuing this trend, the Hero Xoom 125 has recently been unveiled in the country and has already started gaining attention in the commuter scooter segment.

Hero Xoom 125 Features Review

In terms of design, the scooter looks modern and quite aggressive. The front section features a falcon-inspired shape that gives it a distinct road presence. The headlight design shows influence from the Hero Karizma XMR 210.

The handlebar-mounted indicators and split LED tail lamps at the rear further enhance its visual appeal. The rear-mounted fuel tank allows refueling without opening the seat, which adds convenience for daily use.

Powering the scooter is a 124.6cc air-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine. It produces around 9.8 horsepower and 10.4 Nm of torque. The CVT transmission eliminates the need for gear shifting, making the throttle response smooth and user-friendly.

Its performance is well-suited for city riding, with a top speed ranging between 85 to 95 km/h. According to Hero, it is the fastest scooter in its segment, as it can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 7.6 seconds.

The scooter is also well-equipped in terms of features. It comes with a fully digital instrument cluster that includes essential information along with navigation support. LED headlamps and sequential indicators add to its modern appeal.

With a seat height of 777 mm, ground clearance of 164 mm, and a weight of 121 kg, it remains easy to handle. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and a rear monoshock, ensuring a comfortable ride.

For tyres, it gets 110/80-14 at the front and 120/70-14 at the rear, both tubeless. The braking setup includes a front disc and a rear drum brake, although detailed information about advanced braking technology is not yet fully clear. With a fuel capacity of around 5 liters, the scooter is expected to deliver an average mileage of 50 to 55 km/l.
