Adventure Story On An Electric Dart Bike In Montana Judith River, USA

Last updated on 16-Sep-2025 , By Badhon Roy

Renowned international motorcycle enthusiast Jonathan Klein, editor of the global motorcycle blog RideApart recently shared an adventure experience on his blog. The matter of surprise is his companion for this adventure was a prototype electric Dart bike named Stark Varg.

Adventure Story On An Electric Dart Bike

Jonathan’s decision for this adventure was inspired by the Japanese philosophy named “Shinrin-yoku” which means “forest bathing”. It is considered the practice of finding peace and calm in nature. His writing beautifully captures the breathtaking landscapes, diverse ecosystems and peaceful silence of Montana’s Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest.

The century-old Judith River Guard Station had no electricity or water facilities. Jonathan spent three days in this environment by riding the electric Dart bike through restored sections of the Judith River, walking long stretches and enjoying fishing. The electric Dart bike added a new dimension to the adventure because he camped in an off-grid environment.

The Stark Varg EV Dart Bike was lightweight, silent and eco-friendly which made it ideal for nature preservation. Jonathan noted that an EV bike was especially necessary for this adventure because recent initiatives by Montana Trout Unlimited and other stakeholders had restored eroded riverbanks and damaged crossings to protect fish habitats and allow travelers to safely enjoy nature.

During this three-day adventure he experienced intense heat, storms and sunny weather while engaging in trail riding, river crossings and fishing. Surrounding stone mountains, lush forests and occasional bear sightings created a heavenly environment. Jonathan claimed that navigating these rugged trails posed no issues for the electric Dart bike.

He added that more than fishing or riding what stayed with him was the silence, biodiversity and environmentally conscious mindset. Thanks to these conservation efforts the area will remain a peaceful place for future generations where they too can experience true “forest bathing.”

He concluded by emphasizing that his adventures with eco-friendly EVs will continue allowing him to enjoy off-roading and riding while experiencing natural beauty without any pollution.
