Hero Ignitor VS Hero Glamour – Looks & Design
The Hero Ignitor VS Hero Glamour both the motorcycles are designed and featured as a commuter. Hence, they are profiled with common commuting feature and characteristics. Further, coping with the modern trend, both the motorcycle captured the sporty and appealing looks and exteriors.
The Ignitor 125 is the all-new looked motorcycle that comes with quite a sharper and aggressive profile. It’s quite a new addition in the Hero commuter motorcycle series. But the model is focused on a different type of customer.The motorcycle comes with dual-tone color and graphics scheme from head to tail. Here the headlamp is framed sharper including dedicated pilot lamps. The ODO is an analog-digital combo unit. The newly designed fuel tank looks boasted that covers with sporty shrouds.
Further, the side panels are compact. Those finished with sharper LED tail lamp assembly. Here the seat is the segmented single-piece unit that supported with a heavy grabrail. Hence, with the new design of sporty alloy rims, the motorcycle looks sharper, sporty and appealing.
On the counter, the Hero Glamour 125 is quite an elderly model that rolling from many years. But the motorcycle has dressed with newly designed exteriors from few years. Therefore, after that update, it looks pretty, sporty and compact.
The Glamor carrying quite a stuffed profile with a bloated headlamp, fuel tank, and extended side panels. The motorcycle also comes with the multi-tone color scheme. Thereby, it also comes with analog-digital combo ODO, sporty tank shroud, and segmented seat profile. Hence, the design is already proven with many successful years of enrollment.
Frame, Wheel, Brake & Suspension System
The Hero Ignitor VS Hero Glamour both the motorcycle comes with the same displacement of the engine. Both the motorcycle designed focusing quite the same range of customers. But obviously both the motorcycle profile differently to provide different type of features.
Here, the Ignitor build on semi-double-cradle frame and Glamour formed on tubular cradle frame. Both the frame carries quite the same characteristics, but their engine placement is not the same. Accordingly, few differences also visible on the other sides.

Here, the Ignitor wheels featured with tilted and paired 10-spoke alloy rims, those fitted with tubeless tires. On the counter, the Glamour comes with solid 5-spoke alloy rims which are also featured with tubeless tires.
Hence, in terms of braking and suspension system, both the model carries similarities. Here, both the model comes with hydraulic disk braking in the front wheel. The rear wheel comes with drum-type brakes. Further, the models are also available with optional drum braking system at the front.
In the suspension system, both the motorcycle featured with the same hydraulic telescopic fork suspension system. At the rear, both carry the 5-way adjustable spring-loaded sealed hydraulic shock absorbers. Here, the double unit shock-absorbers are fitted with the rectangular swing arms (Source).

In the riding and controlling features, both the Hero Ignitor and Glamour carries quite the same ergonomics. Both the model featured with upright riding posture with all the upright setup of handlebar and control levers.
Further, the seating arrangement quite the same. But Glamour comes with quite a compact profile and Ignitor featured quite roomy. Here, both the motorcycle starting and transmission type is the same. But the Ignitor has few advancements with better power delivery and i3S fuel economic feature.

Both the Hero Ignitor vs Hero Glamour carries the same displacement of the engine. Both are 124.7cc with the bore & stroke of 52.4mmX57.8mm. The basic formation of the engines is quite the same. Those are single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine. Both the engine featured OHC, 2-valve, and carburetor fuel-feeding system. Again, their starting is featured with both kick and electric start.
On the counter of the numerous similarities, these 4-speed geared engines crank alignment is not the same. The Hero Ignitor engine is the vertically aligned engine which is power and acceleration-oriented. But on the counter, the Glamour engine is fuel economic horizontal aligned engine.

Therefore, both the engine comes with different structure and technical characteristics. The Ignitor engine delivers the maximum power of 8.3kW and torque of 11NM. On the counter, the Hero Glamour delivers maximum 6.72kW of power and 10.35NM of torque. Further, their compression ratio also is not the same. In sequence, the performance and on-road characteristics are not the same.
