Dongjin G6 is a pretty cute-looking electric moped produced and marketed by the reputed Chinese electric bike manufacturer, Dongjin. Dongjin is an independent brand manufacturer from China that produces and markets a range of electric vehicles side-by-side various battery products. Dongjin G6 is a compact electric commuter showcased in the Dongjin EV lineup that is dedicatedly featured for short-distance commuting. 

Dongjin G6 is a purposefully featured electric moped that comes with a conventional on-bone design that has a flat floorboard in the front. Hence, besides a regular scooter-like aesthetic, it comes with a convenient range of wheel, brake, and suspension arrangements. Along with a decently powerful electric motor and battery setup, the e-moped also features regular street-legal elements, making it a convenient commuter for daily use legally on public roads.

Dongjin G6 – Physical Attributes:

Dongjin G6 is a decently featured electric moped that comes with a compact and pleasing exterior profile. The e-moped is designed and manufactured by Dongjin that is a Chinese electric vehicle and battery manufacturer. As an e-bike, Dongjin G6 features a regular scooter-like on-bone frame construction and design that has a flat floorboard at the rider’s footrest position. Sequentially, it also has quite a similar wheel, brake, and suspension setup.

In the exterior elements, the moped features a rounded and curvy body profile that looks really beautiful. Here, the front assembly features a curvy and rounded wider front panel that holds a round headlamp assembly on the top. The headlamp features an LED projection light in the middle and has a round LED DRL bezel outside.  The LED turn indicators are mounted separately below on the panel's lower side, where an upside-down wine glass-shaped mudguard nicely covers the front wheel.

On the top, a bikini shield covers the tiny cockpit and a fully digital ODO is simply mounted on the middle of the handlebars inside. The ODO shows regular parameters and the handlebar features common control switches and levers on both sides. Then the inner matte panel under the handlebar provides an ignition key pit, a small gadget pocket, and covers the floorboard up to the rider seat.

The seat of the moped is a single-piece unit that has a metal grabrail and a small backrest at the tail. After the beautifully designed glossy side panels, the tail holds an LED tail lamp in the middle and rear turn indicators on both sides. Meanwhile, the moped comes with all-alloy wheel setup and features a very decent color scheme. Thus, Dongjin G6 entirely features a very sleek and rounded finish that literally looks cool.

Dongjin G6 – Frame, Wheel, Brake, & Suspension System:

Dongjin G6 is a cute and compact electric moped that comes with a pleasant look and design. The e-moped is designed on an on-bone frame that gives it a regular scooter-like aesthetic featuring a flat floorboard at the rider’s footrest position. 

On the wheels, it is fitted with alloy rims and tubeless tires, with a measure of 3.0-10” in both front and rear. In the brakes, here both wheels feature hydraulic disc brakes. In the suspension system, the moped consists of a hydraulic telescopic fork in the front and the rear features spring-loaded dual shock absorber system attached to the swingarm.

Dongjin G6 is a solid, commuting-focused, and very economical electric moped, and it features a decently powerful electric motor and a convenient battery setup. The standard motor is a 1200W brushless hub motor, and the battery is a removable 72V20Ah lead-acid battery. 

The standard motor and battery configuration allows the moped a decent commuting speed and moderate riding range with a fully charged battery. Meanwhile, the standard battery can be fully charged in 6-8 hours using a regular AC220V wall socket.
